POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meetings, the attending public is encouraged to briefly address the Town Board relating to agenda resolutions prior to their enactment; the public will also be given time at the conclusion of thc regularly scheduled business agenda to address the Board on any given topic. RESOLUTIONS Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to speak on the following resolutions. 71. Grant permission to Recreation Supervisor Reeves to attend the 61st ARnual New York State Recreation and Park Society Conference at the Nevele Hotel, March 18-21. 72. Grant a longevity wage increase to Captain Frederic C. Barrett, Fishers Island Ferry District. Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute an agreement with individuals for the winter 2001 recreation programs. Appoint Keith P. Tirabassi as a full-time Laborer on Fishers Island. Reject any and all bids received on December 7, 2000 for supplying food for the 2001 Calendar Year to the Nutrition Program and authorize and direct the Town Clerk to re- advertise for bids. Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute an agreement with Island Group Administration for administration of the Town of Southold Employee Health Plan for 2001. Appoint William Ferris IV as a part-time Scale Operator at the Solid Waste District. Permanently appoint Bruno Semon as a full-time Building Inspector. Request the New York State Department of Transportation to do a survey for a crosswalk on Route 25 in the Village of Southold. Request the New York State Department of Transportation to determine the most effective place and install signage on Route 25 re ban on through track traffic on Love Lane in the Village of Mattituck. (held) Authorize and direct Town Clerk Neville to advertise for bids for a pick-up for the Highway Department. Authorize refund to Anthony Massimo for variance application to the ZBA.
