POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meetings, the attending public is encouraged to briefly address the Town Board relating to agenda resolutions prior to their enactment; the public will also be given time at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the Board on any given topic. Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute an amendment to the Town of Southold Agricultural & Farmland Implementation Grant, Contract #C800510. 266. Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute an amendment to the Town of Southold Agricultural & Farmland Implementation Grant, Contract #C800504. 267. Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to sign an agreement with the County of Suffolk permitting transfer of title for capital equipment as part of the FTA Grant to purchase 3 buses for transportation of senior citizens and people with disabilities. Reinstate Georgia Rudder to the full-time position of Senior Clerk Typist and appoint her provisionally to the position of Building Permits Coordinator. Authorize volunteer George Harwood to drive a Town of Southold motor vehicle. 272. Grant permission to the Board of Commissioners of the Fishers Island Ferry District to accept the bid for a contract with the Thames Shipyard and Repair Company for drydocking and repairs of the MN Racepoint. 276. Accept the proposal of Frank E. Downs Construction Co. for the services ora Construction Manager for the pre-construction phase of the Fishers Island Ferry District New London Terminal expansion project· 277. Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute the landfill cap construction contract with Terry Contracting and Materials, Inc. 284. Create the positions of Recreational Specialist and Maintenance Mechanic I. 285. Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute an agreement with Nelson, Pope & Voorhis for the completion of an environmental assessment for the McBride property. 286. Promote Melanie Doroski to the position of full time Account Clerk-Typist in the Southold Town Attorney's Office. 287. Accept, with regret, the resignation of Robert Eves fi.om his position as van driver for the Southold Town Nutrition Program.  uthorize and direct Town Clerk Neville to advertise for the position of part time Mini- an Driver at the Human Resource Center. 289. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2001 budget to appropriate funds for equipment and vans in the Program for the Aging. 290. Authorize modification to the Solid Waste District 2001 budget for certain items. 291. Support the issuance of an official United States Purple Heart Medal commemorative postage stamp. Grant permission to Town Clerk Elizabeth A. Neville to attend the 2001 Annual New York State Town Clerk Association Conference April 20-25, 2001 in Buffalo. 297. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2001 budget to appropriate funds for lighting at Fort Wright. 298. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2001 budget to appropriate funds for Tasker Park ball field lighting. 299. Elect to purchase property ofMcGunnigle, SCTM #1000-106-6-14 & 20, comprising approximately 25.5 acres. Reject any and all bids received on March 15, 2001 for supplying Food for the 2001 Calendar Year to the Nutrition Program at the Human Resource Center, and authorize and direct Town Clerk Neville to re-advertise for bids. Enact "A Local Law in Relation to Site Plan Fees, Chapter 100, Article XXV, Zoning Code, Site Plan Approval, of the Code of the Town of Southold". Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to sign an Agreement between the Town of Southold and the lowest responsible bidder for grubbing, seeding and sports playing fields at Peconic Lane Park. 304. Authorize the establishment of the Motor Vehicle Capital Project in the 2001 Capital Budget. VI.
