POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meetings, the attending public is encouraged to briefly
address the Town Board relating to agenda resolutions prior to their enactment; the public will
also be given time at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the
Board on any given topic.

U.S. Army Corps of Et3gineers, NY District, Request of Robert Stickle for authorization to
construct a platform attached to an existing bulkhead in Southold Bay, Southold Sound,
Town of Southold. Comments by June 6, 2001.
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, NY District, Request of James Weeden for authorization to
replace 60' of bulkhead with C-loc vinyl, construct a ramp, and construct 160' of a new
stone revetment in a lagoon off Great Peconic Bay, Cutchogue, Town of Southold.

V.~. RESOLUTIONS
418. Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute the Supplemental Nutritional
Assistance. Program (SNAP) with the County of Suffolk.
419. Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute a software support renewal agreement
with ACS.
420. Appoint Dr. Robert B. Cohen to the Building Committee for the new Southold Town
Animal Shelter.
421. Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute the 2001 Community Development
Block Grant Agreement(s) with the County of Suffolk.
422. Set 5:00 p.m., June 19, 2001, Southold Town Hall, as the time and place for a public
hearing on the question of the fee title acquisition by the Town of Southold of the property
of Aurichio, SCTM #1000-56-4-16.
423. Authorize Solid Waste Coordinator James Bunchuck to attend a Solid Waste Association
of North America Conference on recycling and transfer station design on June 20-21 in
Lake Harmony, PA.
424. Authorize Southold Town Beach Attendants and Managers to be supplied with a petty cash
fund in the amount of $40.
425. Authorize the issuance of free beach parking permits to Water Safety Instructors, Beach
Attendants, Lifeguards, Beach Managers, and Recreation Supervisor Ken Reeves.
426. Authorize the reimbursement fee of $.30 per mile to Southold Town Beach Managers and
Lifeguards acting as rotating lifeguards.
427. Grant permission to the New Suffolk Civic Association to use Town roads for their
"Seventh Annual Independence Parade" on July 4, 2001.
Authorize the closure of Case's Lane, Cutchogue, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during the
Cutchogue-New Suffolk Historical Council's Annual Antique Show and Sale on the
Village Green on July 7, 2001.

430. Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute an agreement with the General Code
Publishers Corp. for the installation of the Laserfischc program.
431. Rescind Resolutions 334 adopted April 26, 2001 and 414 adopted May 22, 2001 and
replace them with one establishing a line in the Trust and Agency Fund for the purpose of
recording donated monies to benefit the Southold Town Animal Shelter.
432. Set 5:02 p.m., June 19, 2001, Southold Town Hall, as the time and place for a public
hearing on "A Local Law in Relation to adding a Stop Sign at Greenwood Road, Fishers
Island, NY".
433. Appoint Orion Wenczel as a part time Scale Operator in the Solid Waste District.
434. Grant permission to Town Clerk Neville to attend the Annual New York Association of
Local Government Records Officers Conference at the Thousand Islands June 10-13, 2001.
435. Set 5:04 p.m., June 19, 2001, Southold Town Hall, as the time and place for a public
hearing on "A Local law in Relation to adding a Stop Sign on Winthrop Drive heading in a
westerly direction at the Intersection of Trumball Drive on Fishers Island".
436. Set 5:06 p.m., June 19, 2001, Southold Town Hall, as the time and place for a public
hearing on "A Local Law in Relation to adding a Stop Sign on Trumball Drive heading in a
northerly direction at the Intersection of Tyler Lane on Fishers Island".
437. Declare that the rebuilding and reconstructing of the Brushes Creek Bridge is a Type II
Action under the SEQRA Rules and Regulations and that no further review is required.
438. Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute all permit applications and related
documents necessary for the Brushes Creek Bridge reconstruction project.
439. Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute an agency membership agreement with
DemandStar by Oniva for internet procurement services.
440. Accept, with regret, the resignation of Craig Turner, Planner.
