of Little Peconic Bay, Nassau Point, Cutchogue, Town of

You are hereby notified that it is the intention of the
undersigned to apply on the 27th day of August , 1969 , ~
to the Commissioner of General Services, 143 Washington Avenue,
Albany, New York, for a grant of easement, pursuant to the
provisions of Section 3, Subdivision 2, of the Public Lands Law,
to land under water of the State of New York, described as follows
(insert brief description of proposed easement area including
dimensions and use) : Grant of easement area 6 feet in width and extending
105 feet from the mean high water line into the lands under the waters of Little
Peconic Bay. Petitioner proposes to construct within the easement area a timber
jetty extending 100 feet offshore from the mean high water mark. The purpose of
constructing said jetty is to stabilize the shoreline and to prevent erosion.
If you believe yourself to be adversely affected by reason of such
grant of easement to the undersigned, you should, on or before the
above date, file with the Commissioner of General Services, 143 Wash-
ington Avenue, Albany, New York, a remonstrance stating your objections
and your reasons for opposing the granting of such easement.
The adjacent upland of the undersigned is located at: Nassau Point,
Cutchogue, Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, and known and designated
as Lot 55 on map entitled "Amended Map A of Nassau Point"; bounded North by land
of Joseph Tenopyr Estate, East by Little Peconic Bay, South by land of Creighton W.
Phillips, and West by Nassau Point Road.
