We are enclosing samples, which are being submitted in compliance with the above-
referenced bid.
Please Note! The samples are in accordance with the specified strength. However, since
these are the only bags that we have in stock at the present time, the size of some bags may
differ with a couple of inches. Also, the color of some bags may be different.
Upon approval of our bid we shall manufacture the bags exactly according to the
specified size & color. The purpose of the samples is to test the strength of the bag and the
material we are offering. These samples do serve this purpose.
All shipments made consistent with the enclosed samples will be deemed in full
conformance with bid specifications. We are relying upon approval of these samples for
compliance of its bid and will ship only such bags, in the specified size/color. Acceptance of
our bid shall conclusively constitute approval of the enclosed samples as conformity with bid

The sealed bid, together with a Non-collusive Bid Certificate and bank raft or
certified check in the amount of $100.00, will be received by the Town Clerk, at the
Southold Town Hall, 53095 Main Road, Southold, New York, until 10:00 A.M.,
Thursday, November 8, 2001 at which time they will be opened and read aloud in
public. The Town Board of the Town of Southold reserves the right to reject any and all
bids and waive any and all informalities in any bid should it be deemed in the best
interest of the Town of Southold to do so.
