Mattituck Park District held on October 14, 2005, at 7:00 p.m. in the office of the new
building on Peeonic Bay Boulevard, Mattituek, New York, with Commissioner Jerome
Zuhoski, Chairman, and Tom McCaffery present, together with John Cushman,
Treasurer, Madeline Haas, secretary, Edward Grohoski, Maintenance, and Mr.
Willisamson, a volunteer worker. Absent: Gerard Goehringer, Commissioner and Gall
Faireloth, Clerk.
The meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m.
On motion of Jerome Zuhoski, seconded by Tom McCaffery, the minutes of the
September meeting were approved as presented.
On motion of Jerome Zuhoski, seconded by Tom McCaffery and carried, the
Treasurer's report was approved and the following bills ordered paid:

Commissioners had a discussion on proposal for epoxy premiun floor for the two
bathrooms, the hallway and big room in the new building at Veterans Park. Epoxy file
with a three year guarantee - $5900.00. Tom McCaffery has a man coming down to
cheek the floors for file and give a price.
Ed Grohoski has not done anything with the dead pine trees at Wolf Pit Lake site.
He promised to get to them as soon as possible.
Ed Grohoski has not done anything with the cold patch for fixing the holes in all
the sites and driveway.
Jerome Zuhoski made a motion, seconded by Tom McCaffery and carried, giving
permission to Ed Grohoski to purchase a $199.00 drill from Home Depot.
Ed Grohoski said a five foot counter top can be purchased at Home Depot for
$41.00 - $49.00.
A thank you note from the Volley ball league was received and mad.
Secretary instructed to write a thank you note to Howard Wells (American Legion
Post 861 representative) for donating a new flag to the Park District for flying at the Love
Lane site and a thank you note to the Mattituck Fire Commissioners for use of their
building for Park meetings until the new building is ready.
Tom McCaffery is going to see if he can get in touch with Warren Sandback or
his son to check how we can get a certifcation of the water and sewerage signed to get it
to Suffolk County Health Department.
On motion of Jerome Zuhoski, seconded by Tom McCaffery and camed the
following resolution was adopted:

Corrizini Asphalt of Cutchogue gave estimated cost for the paving of the Veterans
Park site - $5050.00. and an estimate for paving at the Aldrich Lane site - $2200.00.
This was tabled for further consideration.
Ed Grohoski is to have the water shut offat the Love Lane site and all sprinkler
systems to be shut down.
The November 10t~ meeting will be held at the Mattituck Fire House and aote of
the Park District residents to elect one commissioner for a term of three years to succeed
Jerome Zuhoski whose term expires December 31, 2005, and one treasurer for a term of
three years to succeed John Cushman whose term expires December 3 I, 2005.
No further business to come before the meeting on motion of Jerome Zuhoski,
Seconded by Tom McCaffe~y and carried, the meeting was adjourned.
