PLACE a brick or equivalent at the bottom of ground holes to provide a solid foundation for embedded posts. Allow for this in determining hole depth. See Typical Assembly Detail E01. DUE to extremes in weather and soil conditions, ground hole sizes may have to be increased to meet local conditions. When increasing footing depth, maintain 2'-6" [76.20 em] embedment from the top of the finished surfacing to the bottom of all posts, rail supports and bench legs. POUR concrete only after final assembly is complete. Bracing material may be required during assembly. ASSEMBLY and leveling time will be greatly reduced if a transit is used to set location and depth of ground holes. Do not tighten any nuts, bolts, rods, etc., until the apparatus is completely assembled. Use care not to overtighten bolts; to do so may cause buckling or dimpling of some parts. BEFORE attaching bench legs, handrails, footrests and footrail assemblies to benches, remove excess PVC coating from the predrilled holes in the bench frames. Drill out the coaling using a 7/16~ diameter bit. Use care in locating and selecting the proper holes for the attachments as not all predrilled holes in the bench frames will need to be utilized. LEVEL and plumb the entire apparatus; tighten all nuts, bolts, etc. before pouring concrete. POUR all ground holes with concrete to with O'_6Ø [15.24 em] of frnished surface. Slope lop of concrete for proper drainage. See Typical Assembly Detail E01. Sway bracing may be required during pouring of concrete.
