Dear Mr. Fitzgerald:
The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees
during a Regular Meeting, held on May 24,2000, regarding the
above matter.
WHEREAS, DEBORAH POLIDORA, applied to the Southold Town Trustees
for a permit under the provisions of the ~b~nd Ordinance of
the Town of Soutbold, application d~ed ;~pril ~, 2000, and
WHEREAS, said ap~licatio~ w~s/r~f~r ~ t~ the ~outhold Town
Conservation AdviSory Counci~ for t% Hr :indies and
recommendat ions, ?d ~
WHEREAS, a Public ~earing was~held/b~ the'Town Trustees with
respect to said ap~licatimn on'~ 24, 2000, at which time all
interested persons Were Given an opportunity to be heard, and,
WHEREAS, the Board m~s have personally viewed and are
familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area,
and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and
documentation submitted concerning this application, and,
WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standard set forth in
Chapter 97-18 of the Southold Town Code,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed
will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the
people of the town,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT,
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approves application with
the stipulation that dock will be moved approx. 35' west of
proposed dock. As it is now. Not to extend any further out
then the line drawn between the two neighboring docks on the
east and west and that includes the vessel ties to the dock.
Get new drawings and planting plan on survey.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this determination should not be
considered a determination made for any other Department or
Agency which may also have an application pending for the same
or similar project.
Permit to construct and complete project will exDire two years
from the date it is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable,
and permit issued within six months of the date of this
notification.
Two inspections are required and the Trustees are to be notified
upon completion of said project.

At the meeting of the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council held Tuesday, April 11,
2000, the following recommendation was made:
Moved by Bill McDermott, seconded by Bob Ghosio, it was
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVAL WITH A
CONDITION of the Wetland Permit Application of DEBORAH POLIDORA 114-1-1 to
construct a fixed open walkway 4'X 100', hinged aluminum ramp 2.5'X 20', and floating dock
6'X 20'; install two 2-pile dolphins to secure floating dock. Relocate existing gazebo approx.
10' landward. Reshape the face of the bottom terFace to reduce angle, to minimize run-off and
erosion. Plant the banks with rosa rugosa, to be sheared low, seaward ora line between tree on E
side to the present location of gazebo. Plant the area between the bottom of the lowest terrace
and the existing s. alterniflora with American beach grass.

The CAC recommends Approval with a Condition that proposed dock be in line with the
neighbor's dock or to needed water depth.
