At the meeting of the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council held Mon., July 17,
2006, the following recommendation was made:
Moved by Don Wilder, seconded by Jack McGreevy, it was
RESOLVED to TABLE the application of KATHRYN NIEDORODA to Amend Permit
#6140 for an extension of the dock to 65' (60' previously approved) and addition of 4'X
12' fixed 'T' and two piles, and eliminate the steps to grade.

The CAC Tables the application because there was no access into the property. The
CAC recommends a path be cleared and a re-inspection next month.

Dear Ms. Mesiano:
The Board of Town Trustees took the following action during its regular meeting held on
Wed., May 18, 2005 regarding the above matter:
WHEREAS, Catherine Mesiano on behalf of KATHRYN NIEDORODA applied to the
Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of Chapter 97 of the Southold
Town Code, the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated April 27,
2005 and,
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation Advisory
Council for their findings and recommendations, and,
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said
application on May 18, 2005, at which time all interested persons were given an
opportunity to be heard, and,
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the
premises in question and the surrounding area, and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted
concerning this application, and,
WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standards set forth in Chapter 97 of the
Southold Town Code,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the
health, safety and general welfare of the people of the town,
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approve the application of KATHRYN
NIEDORODA to construct a 24.5' x 50' dwelling with 10'x 24.5' attached deck, on-site
sewage disposal system, pervious driveway, clear and maintain a 4' wide pervious path
to the proposed dock, 4' x 60' Iow profile fiberglass grid dock (2' above grade), with the
condition of a 75' non disturbance buffer seaward of the house, a haybale line during
construction, and drywells on the house to contain roof runoff, and all as depicted on the '
plans drawn by Robert Fox and last dated 10/18/05.
Permit to construct and complete project will expire two years from the date the permit
is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable, and permit issued within six months of the
date of this notification.
Inspections are required at a fee of $50.00 per inspection. (See attached schedule.)
This is not a determination from any other agency.

construct a 24.5'X 50' dwelling with 10'X 24.5' attached deck, on-site sewage disposal
system, pervious driveway, cl6ar and maintain a 4' wide pervious path to the proposed
dock, 4'X 50' fixed dock with steps to grade.
Located: 700 Deep Hole Rd., Mattituck. SCTM#115-12-10
The CAC Tables the application because there was no access to the property. The CAC
recommends the property owner clear a small path into the property.

Dear Mr. Krupski:
I am writing on the behalf of my mother, Mrs. Kathryn Niedoroda who is the owner of the above
referenced property. My father having passed away several years ago. This letter is to point out,
and correct, an error in the Property Survey Drawing that accompanies the permit application
that has been submitted on our behalf by Catherine Mesiano, lnc on April 27, 2005.
Our neighbor on Deep Hole Drive called me this morning and pointed out an error of the dock in
the Property Survey Drawing prepared for us by Robert H. Fox and submitted as pan of the
Bnilding Permit Application. This drawing should have shown a dock that does no__jt end in a set
of steps down to the existing creek bottom. The bottom there is just mud. Mr. Edginton, our
neighbor's son requested, and we agree, that this dock should not extend further than the one on
their property. This means it would need to be only four feet more than shown on the Property
Survey Drawing with a total length of 60 feet. Otherwise dock would be as shown on this
drawing with the appropriate above ground clearance and no floating platform.
I understand that the board is comidering this application today and I apologize for this last
minute issue. We simply miss-read the Property Survey Drawing and would hate missed this
error had it not been for the kind assistance of Mr. Edginton. I hope that this correction does not
introduce a significant inconvenience to you and thc other board members.

Statement of effect:
No significant effect on the wetlands and tidal water of the town is anticipated as
a result of the proposed activity. A 75' separation will be maintained between the
upland limit of the wetlands and the proposed dwelling, drywells are proposed to
contain stormwater roof runoff and staked haybales will be utilized during
construction to proven siltation into the wetlands. The proposed fixed dock will
maintain adequate height and no float is proposed.
