The purpose of the inspection to witness the results of a static plumbing test of the sanitary waste lines and a pressure test of the domestic water system. The inspection of the as-built construction of the sanitary system appeared water tight with no leakage observed in the system under the static head load test. The domestic water was air tested to 60 psig and no pressure loss was observed. It is my professional opinion that the as-built construction meets with the general intent of the New York State Building and Construction Code. The purpose of the inspection was to review the approved building plans as they pertain to the structural alteration proposed. During this review and inspection it was determined that the approved plans contained errors relative to proposed ceiling height,window placement and structural support of the roof framing.A structural analysis was performed to carry the roof structure to full bearing. This required alterations to the roof lines and reinforcement of girders. A follow- up inspection of the work was performed. It is my professional opinion that the as-built construction meets with the general intent of the New York State Building and Construction Code. Be advised, however, that no construction, sedimentation, or disturbance of any kind may take place seaward of the tidal wetlands jurisdictional boundary, as indicated above, without a permit. It is your responsibility to ensure that all precautions are taken to prevent any sedimentation or other alteration or disturbance to the ground surface or vegetation within Tidal Wetlands jurisdiction which may result from your project. Such precautions may include maintaining adequate work area between the tidal wetland jurisdictional boundary and your project (i.e. a 15' to 20' wide construction area) or erecting a temporary fence, barrier, or hale bay berm.
