Dear Mr. Fisher,
Bluepoints Co. is requesting a design modification regarding our project at
Southold, N. Y. under the permit issued 1/27/94; permit # 4267. The revised plan
will eliminate the 2,000 gallon per minute pump enclosed in a 5' x 5' structure. We
propose to use two 1,000 gallon per minute submersible pumps to be placed at
the end of the 100' x 4' open pile pier. Two davits will be installed at the end of
the pier for pump servicing. These pumps will be removed at the end of each
growing season. This modification will significantly reduce noise and increase
pumping efficiency. Please advise, if this permit modification meets Southold's
conformance requirements.

RESOLVED that pursuant to Article 8 of the Environmental Conservation
Law, State Environmental Quality Review and 6NYCRR Part 617,
Section 617.10 and Chapter 44 of the Code of the Town of Southold,
notice is hereby given that the Southold Town Trustees, as Lead
Agency for the action described below, has determined that the
project will not have a significant effect on the environment.
Please take further notice that this declaration should not be
considered a determination made for any other department or agency
which may also have an application pending for the same or similar
project.
TYPE OF ACTION: Type
DESCRIPTION OF ACTION: to construct a 100' X 4' open pile pier and
place four prefabricated 8' X 30' open tanks in adjacent area. Tank
would be serviced by a 2,000. GPM pump enclosed in a 5' X 5'
structure. Intake and outfall pipes would run underneath the pier
and the tanks connected in parallel.

REASONS SUPPORTING THIS DETERMINATION:
1. An on site inspection has been conducted by the Board of
Trustees.
2. An environmental assessment, submitted by the applicant and
reviewed and completed by the Board of Trustees, has indicated that
no significant adverse effects to the environment are likely to occur
should the project be implemented as planned.

sets of plans, accurate plot plan to scale. Fee according to schedule.
b. Plot plan showing location of lot and of buildings on premises, relationship to adjoining premises or public streets
or areas, and giving a detailed description of layout of property must be drawn on the diagram which is part of this appli-
cation.
c. The work covered by this application may not be commenced before issuance of Building Permit.
d. Upon approval of this application, the Building Inspector will issued a Building Permit to the applicant. Such permit
shall be kept on the premises available for inspection throughout the work.
e. No building shall be occupied or used in whole or in part for any purpose whatever until a Certificate of Occupancy
shall have been granted by the Building Inspector.
