ing present: Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and,Valentine;
Justices-Tuthill and Clark; Town Attorney Tasker; Supt. of Highways
Dean and Town Clerk Richmond ,
Moved by Councilman~Demarest; seconded by Councilman Valentine;
RESOLVED: That the next meeting of the Town~ Board will be held at
the office of the ,Supervisor, Lester M. Aibertson, 16 SouGh Street,
Greenport, New York, on Tuesday, December_20, 1966 at 3:00 P..M.

RESOLVED: That the minutes of the meeting of Dscember November ~9%

manner of execution and sufficienny of sureties therein.

RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk be and he hereby is directed to request
the Long Island Lighting Company to make a survey .for overhead lights
in the development known as EASTERN SHORES, Greenport, New York.

~WHEREAS, Section 105 of the Town Law provides that Town officers.and
employees who receive or disburse monies of the Town shall account to the
Town Board for all monies received and disbursed~by them on-or about
the 28th day of December, ~6not later than the 31st day of December
· n each year, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board deems it necessary ~o engage a public accountant
to prepare the aforesaid annual account for all town officers and
employees,
NOW~ 'T~EREFORE, BE IT R~SOLVED: That the Town Board engage the services
of Irving Miller, a public accountant, to make the annual audit of the
books, records, receipts and other documents of the town officers and
employees of the Town of Southold for the fiscal year 1966,at a salary
of ~$~50.00. ~ ~ ~ ~

Ferry District on th~ following resolutions:
RESOLUTION NO 1.
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners sought quotation for the removal of
twenty-two (22) underwater stub pilings located at the ~ew London Termin-
al of ~he Fishers Island Ferry District on October 31, 1966,' and
WHEREAS, bids ~ere received and opened on November 8, 1966 at 2:00 P.M.
in the office of the Fishers Island Ferry District as ~ollows:
Whaling City Dock ahd Dredge Corporation $5925.00
Elliott & Watrons Inc., Mystic Conn. 8250.00
BE IT RESOLVED: That W~ling City Dock and Dredge Corporation of Buell
St., Groton, Conn. be awarded this work ~n the amount of $5925..00

RESOLUTION NO. 2:
WHEREAS, the life boats of the M/~ Mystic Isle have been inspected
by the U.S. Coast Guard and due to their age and the expense involved
in renovating same to Coast Guard s%andards, and
WHEREAS, U.S. Coast Guard has recommended replacing same with self
inflating rafts of a larger capacity, and
WHEREAS~ in accordancw with these recommendations the Board 0f~ Comm,
issioners has sought quotations for two 25-man self inflating rafts
on November 23, 1966, and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on November 28, 1966 at.2:00 P.M.'in the
office.of the Ferry District as follows:
Revere Supply Company, 603-607 West 29th St., New York per raft
$2252..00 less 10% on each raft
BE IT RESOLVED: That the Fishers ,II'sland Ferry District accept this
quotation of the Revere Supply Company in the amount of $2252.00 each
less 10% each raft and purchase two rafts as recommended by the U.S.
Coast Guard.

findings and determinations required by law and it is further

it with 175 MV l~ght.
