Albertson, 16 South Street, Greenport, New York, on October 7, 1966. The meeting was cailed to order a~ 3:00 P.M. with the following present: Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Valentine; Justices Tut- hill and Clark; Town Attorney Tasker; Superintendent of Highways Dean and Town Clerk Richmond .... Moved by 'Councilman Valentine; seconded by CounCilman Demarest; WH~REAS~ a letter has been received from Patrolman William P. ~Boken tendering his resignation from the Southold Police Department as of October 7, 1966, and Wi~EREAS, Patrolman Boken has served the Town in a satisfactory manner for the past nine years, and therei~s accrued leave due to him, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That this Town Board accepts with re- gret the resignation of Patrolman William Boken as of this date, and directs that his salary and accrued leave be paid to him. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Councilman Demarest; RESOLVE~: Chief Joseph Sawicki and Patrolman Stanley Droskoski of the Southold To~n Police Department be and they hereby are authorized to attend Community College, and it is further RESOLVED: That tuition and necessary equipment while attending said college be a legal charge against the Town up to but not to exceed the sum of $45.00. The meeting was called to order at 3:00 P.M. with the following present: Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and. Clark; Supt. of Highways Dean; Town Attorney Tasker and Town Clerk Richmond. Moved by Councilman Demarest; seconded by Justice Tuthill; RESOLVED: That the Supt. of Highways of the Town of Southold be author- ized to advertise for bids and to purchase from the lowest responsible bidder, one (1) new 1967 International Dump Truck, or equal. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Councilman Valentine; WHEREAS, Roy C. Shelin applied to the Town Board for a single trailer renewal permit dated October 10, 1966, NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the application of Roy C. Shelin for a renewal of his trailer application is hereby granted for a period of six (6) months° Vote of Town Board: Ayes-supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Valenti~; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by CounciLman Demarest; seconded by Councilman Valentine; RESOLVED: That Henry Stepnoski Jr., Southold, N.Y. be and hereby is appointed Police Patrolman of the Town of Southold, N.Y., and be it FURTHER RESOLVED: That Henry Stepnoski Jr. will serve in the capacity of Police Patrolman of the Town of Southold at the pleasure of the Town Board unless otherwise provided for, and
