September 20, 1966. The mseting was called to Order at 3:00 P.M. with ~the following present: Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark; Town Attorney Tasker; Superintendent of Highways Dean and Tow~ Clerk Richmond. Moved by Councilman Va~ntine; seconded by Justice Clark; RESOLVED: That the minutes of the September 6, 1966 meeting and the minutes of' the special meeting of'September 10, 1966 be and they here- by are approved. Vote of Town hoard: Ayes- Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Valentine~ Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Councilman Demarestf-seconded by Councilman Valentine; RESOLVED: That the next meeting of the Town Board will be held at the ~office of ~the Supervisor, Lester M. At 3:00 ~.M. zn accordance'with a notice published according to law, bids were opened for proposals to furnish to the ~Town of Southold, 100,000 gallons of special grade gasoline for the use' of the Southold Town Police-Department'and Highway department. The following bids were submitted: A~way - 17~¢ per gallon on todays price R. A. McCullUm - 13.37¢ per gallon Moved by Council~a~ Valentine; seconded by Councilman Demarest; W~EREAS~ Ri A. McCullum1, Socony Mobil, was the low~s~ bidder for the 100,000 gallons of special grade gasoline, RESOLVED: That Supervisor Lester M. Albertson be and he hereby is directed to enter into a contract with R. A. McCullum, Socony Mobil, for the purchase of 100,000 gallons or as much as is required of special grade gasoline at'the price of i3.37-cents per gallon for the use of the Southold Town Police and Highway departments as per bid submitted.
