WE, the- undersigned, being members of the Town Board--'of the-T~wn Of
Somthold, Suffolk County, New York, do hereby severally waive notice
of the time, place and purpose of the meeting of the Town Board to
be held at-Fishers Island, in the T~wn of Southold, New York, on
TueSday, April~ 12; 1966, and dO-hereby consent that--the same be held
on said date for the transaction of any~busine~s which may properly~
come before said meeting~

A special meeting of the Southold Town Board was held at ~the Fishers
Island F/re House, Fishers Island, New York, the members of the
Board haveing waived'notice of the time, place and purpose of the
meeting. The meeting was ca, led to order by Supervisor Lester M,
Albertson at 1:30 P,M~. ,
Moved by Justice Edwards; seconded by Justice Clark;
$~F~EREAS, a map has been duly filed in the Town Clerk's Office, and
W~RREAS, an order-was duly adopted by the Town B~rd Of the Town
of Southold on the 22nd day of March, ~1966, reciting the filing
said map, th~ improvements proposed,-the boundaries of the proposed
extension of the Fishers Island Refuse and Garbage District, the
estimated expense thereof, thefac~'-that the map is on file in the
Town Clerk's Office for. public inspection and stating all other
matters required b~ law to bestated, and specifying the 12th day
of April, 1966 at I2:30-o'clock P~-M~ on thab'day, as the time, and
the Fishers Island Fire House~in said Town -as the place where the
said Town Bc~rd~w°Uld meet to consider said map.and the proposed
extension of said District, and to hear all persons interested in
the subject matter thereof, concerning the smme, an~ to take such
action thereon as is required or authorized by law,-and
WHEREAS, such order was duly published and posted as required by
law, and
WHEREAS, a hearing~on said mat~er was ~duiY held by said To~n BOard~-'~
on the 12th day-of April, 1966, at 12:30 o'clock P~M. of s-aid
day, at the Fisher-s Isla/~d Fire ~ouse~in Said Town, and futl~d~S-
cussion of the' matter having been had, and all persons desiring to
be heard, having been heard,
NOW, upon the evidence given .upon such-hearing, ahd upon'm6tion of
Justice Edwards, seconded by Justice Clark, it is
RESOLVED AND DETERMINED:
(a) That the Notice of Hearing was published and posted as
required by law, and is otherwise sufficient.
(b) That all property and property owners within the pro-
posed extension of the Fishers Island Refuse and Garbage District,
are benefitted thereby.
(c) That all property and property owners benefitted are
included within' the limits of the proposed extension of the Fishers
Island Refuse and Garbage District ....
(d) That i~ is in the public interest to extend ~aid Fishers
Island Refuse and Garbage District.
FURTHER RESOLVED AND DETERMINED that this Board in all respects~
approves the extension of the Fishers Island Refuse and
District, in the Town Of Sonthold, Suffolk County, New Yor~,
embrace the additional territory described in and containi~g-~he~-
following boundaries, to wit:

cribed in said petition from "A" Residential and Agriculural District
to M-1 Multiple Residence District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk of the TOWn of
Southold be and he hereby is directedtto ttansmitthls application to
the Planning Board in accordance with Section~01 Subdivision C of
Article IX of the Building Zone Ordinance of th~ Town of Southold.
