Albertson, 16 South Street, Greenpor~, New York, on September 26, 1967, with the following present: Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Valentine; Justices TuthilI and Cl~rk. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Councilman ValentSne; RESOLVED: That the minutes of September 12, 1967 be and they are hereby duly approved. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Councilman Valentine; seconded by Justice Clark; RESOLVED: That the next meeting of the Town Board will be held at the office of ~Supervisor Lester M. Albertson, 16 South Street, Greenport, New York, on Tuesday, October 10,~1~67, at 3:00 P.M. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Councilman Valentine; W~EREAS, Sam Brown has applied to the Town Clerk for a single trailer renewal permit dated September, 1967, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the application of Sam Brown to locate a single trailer on his property off Middle Road, Cutchogue, New York, be and the same is hereby granted for occupancy for a slx month period. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Valentine; Justices Tu,thill and Cla~ Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Councilman Valentine; RESOLVED: That this Town Board request Governor Rockefeller to call a special session of the Legislature which must begin by repealing these sections :and/or pertinent subdivisions thereof of the revised penal laws: sections 35.05, 35.15, 35.20, 35.25, 35.30, and it must re-enact as part of the new penal Law these sections and/or pertinent subdivisions of the old uenal law: sections 246, 1054, 1055. Suffolk residents and our fine Police Force deserve the right to properly defend themselves and to apprehend criminals. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Councilman Valentine; seconded by Justice Clark; WHEREAS, Southold Legion Auxiliary G.T.G. Post ~803, Southold, N.Y. applied to the Town Clerk for a Bingo License, and WHEREAS~ the Town Board has examined the application and after invest- lgation duly made findings and determinations as required by law, NOW, THEP~EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Supervisor be and he hereby is authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the Town Board the findings and determinations as required by law, and it is further RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk be and he hereby is directed to issue a Bingo License to the Southold American Legion Auxiliary G.T.G. Post ~803, Southold, New York. Vote of Town Board: Ayes- Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Councilman Demarest; seconded by Councilman Valentine; WHEREAS, Casbor, Inc. Mattituck, New York, by petition verified the 29th day of May, 1967, petitioned the Town. Board for a change of zone of certain real property in said petition from "A" Residential and Agricult- ural District to "B-2" Business District, and WHEREAS~ the said petition was referred to the Planning Bca rd for its official recommendation and report, and WHEREAS~ the Planning Board, p~rsuant to due notice thereof, held a hearing thereon on the 12th day of September, 1967, at which time all interested persons %~e~e g~ven an opportunity to be heard, NO~ T~E~EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the relief demanded in said petition of Casbor, Inc. be and the smme is in all respects DENIED. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark. 418 Moved by J~stice Tuthill; seconded by Justice Clark; RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk be and he hereby is directed to request the Long Island Lighting Company to L)remove the light on NYTCO pole ~37 on Wickham Avenue, Mattituck, N.Y. and place it on LILCO pole ~38, 2.) place one (1) 175 MVOE street light on pole ~38 Route 25 by the Mattituck Library, Mattituck, N.Y. and 3.) trim the teee branches from the light across from Horton Lane, Route 25, Southold, N.Y. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Dema~st and Valentine; Juslices Tuthill and Clark. ~ The Town Clerk presented to the Town Board detailed estimates of reyenues and expenditures from the various Town Offices, Departments and. Districts for~e fiscal year beginning January 1, 1968, pursuant to Section 111 of the Town Law .... Recess was called at 3:37 P.M.
