WHEREAS, the said petition was referred to the Planning Board for its~
official recommendation and report, and

Audrey Gale, SEcond Street, Greenport, New Yo~k, appea~ed ~efore the Board
requesting financial aid for Project Head Start. They are interested ih
renting a home formerly nsed as a nursing home in Greenport, N~Y.. for
children from 2 to 4½ years of age. Mrs. Gale stated that they had some
Federal Aid but felt that it would be insufficient to carry on the projec~t
for the full year. The B~ rd requested a copy of their financial bddiget
and informed Mrs. Gale that they would discuss the matter aG the~nex:t
meeting of the Town Board.
Irving Miller, Public Accountant, retained by the Town, has audited ~he
accounts of all departments of the Town Of Southold under Section.-10~5
