Tuthill has applied to the TOwn Board for a-single trailer renewal permit dated March 1967, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the application of John C. Tuthill Mattituck, N.Y. ~t~R a trailer be granted for a period of six (6) months. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Counci~m~n'Demarest and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Tuthill; WHEREAS, THE County of Suffolk owns and operates a dredge and other equipment suitable for dredging channels and depositing fill on des- ignated areas, and W~EREAS, the Town Of Southold has requested that the said dredge be used in connection with the dredging ~f Goose Creek, Town of Southold, as shown on the accompanying maps and specifications, and WHEREAS, the Supervisor of the Town of Southold by resolution duly adoptedrby the Town Board of said Town of Southold has beeh &uthori ized and directed to siqn for and on behalf of the Town of S0uthold assurances to the County of Suffolk, that the said Town of Southol.d ~ will perform all acts required to be performed by said Town in conn- ection with the preparation for the dredging operation as and obtaining of all necessary easements and rights of wa~ dredging operation and use of areas indicated on the attach~ for spoil areas together with all necessary rights incidental to said dredging operation; NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the benefits to the Town of Southold, as aforesaid, the Town of Southold~hereby assures the County of Suffolk that it will: (a) Furnish, free of cost to the County of Suffolk, all land~_ eas~~ ments, rights of way and spoil disposal areas necessary for th~ ~ew w~rk and subsequent maintenance when and if required for the d~dging operations at GOOSE CREEK all as shown on the attached map, ahd (b) Ho~d and save the Connty of Suffolk free from any claims, or damages resulting from said improvement or resulting in any way from t~? said dredging operation or' the use of equipment at the said GooSE ~EK, or use of any spoil area or any other area affected by said dredging operation. Moved ~y Justice C~ark; seconded by Councilman Valentine; RESOLVED: That this recommendation from the Eastern Long Island Hospital be spread upon the minutes of the Town of ~Southold: It was unanimously voted ~Y the Members of the Medical Staff since trained and licensed personnel are now available and there is an on-call physician.available t6 the Hospital at all ~imes~.tha~ these ~ersonnel shouid have the authorizty and be directed.to cause the victims tobe transported immediately to t~e ~ospital regar'dless of the .extent of %nj~ries or condition ~f the patient, rather than having a Dostor appear at the scene. This should save valuable time. This method is being used in most areas'throughout the sta~e~and has been proven to be in the best interest of the patient's survival. AND BE IT FurTHER RESOLVED: That the Supervisor of the Towh' Of Southold instruct the Police Department to follow the instrudtions of the above recommendation of the members of the Medical Staff. Preston Inc. for the rebuilding of the bulkhead at the end of West Road, Fleet's Meck, Cutchogue, N.Y., the sum not to eXceed $2450.00.
