Vote of Town Board: Ayes- upervisor Albertson; CounCilmen Demarest and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Councilman Valentine; RESOLVED: Tha~Supervisor Albertson be and he hereby is authorized to purchase'~r (~ parcels of land from the County of Suffolk listed in the Tax Books~Unknown~ Owner and situated in Wickham Park, Arsha- L.I., the sum for same not to exceed $C~,~ momaque, Vote of ~Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; ouncilmen Demarest and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Councilman Valentine; seconded by Justice Clark; W~EREAS, Marian Council ~3852 Knights of Columbus, Cutchogue, N.Y. applied to the Town Clerk for a Bingo License, and W~EREAS~ the Town Board has examined the application and after invest- igation duly made ~indings and determinations as required by law, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Supervisor be and he hereby is authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the Town Board the findings and determinations as required by law, and it is further RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk be and he hereby is directed to issue a Bingo License to the Marian Council ~3852, Knights of Columbus, Cutchogue, New York. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; ounctmen Demarest and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Counc~man Valentine; seconded-by Councilman Demarest; RESOLVED: That the Southold Town Board goes on record as opposing State Senate Bill 563 - AN ACT to amend the Town and Village law in relation to eliminating property ownership as a qualification for election appoint~m~nt or continuance in certain offices and for voting on certain propositions. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Councilman Demarest; seconded by Justice Clark; RESOLVED: That Supervisor Lester M. Albertson be and he hereby is authorized to contact the Suffolk County Park Commission to investig- ate the possibility of using the causeway between East Marion and Orient as a County Park. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Valentine~ Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Councilman Demarest; seconded by ~Justice Tuthill; RESOLVED: That Supervi~Dr Lester M. Albertson be and he hereby is authorized to advertise for bids for approximately 800 feet of Chain Link Fence with slats for use'on Town Property.
