The Southold Town Board met at theooffice of the Supervisor, Albert M. Moved by Councilman Demarest; seconded by Justice Clark; In the Matter of the Establishment of the Orient-East Marion Park District, in the Town ~f Southold, Suffolk County, New York, pursuant ~o Article 12 A of the Town Law. WHEREAS, a map has been duly filed in the Town Clerk's Office, and WHEREAS, an order was duly adopted by the Town Board of the Town of Southold '6n the 21st day of October, 1969, reciting the filing of said map, that no improvements are proposed, the'boundaries of the proposed Orient-East Marion Park District, the fact that the map is aon file in the Town Clerk's Office for public inspection and stating all other matters required by'law to be stated, and specifying the 6th-day of November, 1969, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. on that day, as the time, and the orient SchoOlhouse, Main Road~ Orient, in the said Town as the place where the said Town Board would meet to consider said map and the pro- posed establishment Of said District, and to hear all persons interested in the~su~ject matter thereof, concerning the same, and to take such action thereon as is required or authorized ~y law, and W~R _REAS, such order was duly published and posted as required by law, and WHEREAS, a hearing on said matter was duly held by said Town Board on the 6th day of November, 1969~ at 8:00 o'clock P.M. of said day at the Orient Schoolhouse, Main Road, Orient,~ in said Town, and full discussion of the matter have been had, and all .persons desiring ~o be heard, having been~heard, NOW, uPon~the evidence given upon such hearing, and upon motion of Councilman Lonis Demarest, seconded by Justice Henry Clark, it is RESOLVED ~ND DETERMINED: .(a) Thag &he notice of Hearing was published and posted as required ~y law, and i~ otherwise sufficient. (b) That all property and property o~ners within the proposed Orient-East Marion ~ark District, are ~enefitted thereby. (c) That all property and property owhers benefitted are i~cluded within the limits of the p~oposed 0ri~nt-East Marion Park Distr'ict. (d) That it is in the public interest.to establish said Orient- East Marion Park District.
