Said Note is hereby sold to the NORTH FORK BANK AND-TRUST-' COMPANY, Mattituck, New York, at the purchase pkice of $135,000, to bear interest at the ~ate of three and sixty hundredths per centum' (3~60%) per annum, payable at maturity, and the Supervisor is hereby authorized to deliver said Note to said purchaser upon receipt of the'purdhaSe pric~, plus accrued interest, if any, from the date of said Note 5o the date bf delivery. Said Note shall contain the recital' of ~alidity prescribed by S. 52.00 6f the Law and shall be a general obligatioh of the .Town, payable as to both principal and interest by a~g'eneral t&x upon all the taxable real property within the Town, without limitation of rate .or amount. Edgar Worthington has applied to the Town Board for a single trailer renewal permit dated March 10, 1969, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the application of W. Edgar Worthington to locate a single trailer on his property on Sound Av~ue, Mattituck, N.Y. be and the same is granted for a six (6) month period. Moved by Councilman Valentine; seconded by Justice Suter; RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk be and he hereby ~s directed to request the Long Island Lighting Company to remove 100 cp lights on Peconic Lane, Peconic, N.Y. by the Peconic School, poles ~11 and 12, and replace them with 175 MV lights. Also requested to place 175 MV light on the corner of Stillwater Avenue and Pequash Avenue, Cutchogue, N.Y. Moved by Councilman Valentine; seconded by Justice Suter; RESOLVED: That a town owned Citizen Band Radio be installed in the Town Police Boat, the expense of installationcf same to be charge~ against the Town. Moved by Councilman Valsstine; seconded by Justice Suter; RESOLVED: That the Supt. of Highways of the Town of Southold be authorized to advertise for bids and to purchase from the lowest responsible bidder 2500 gallons, more or less as needed, of traffic Paint. Moved by Councilman Valentine; seconded by Justice Clark; RESOLVED: That Superviso~ Martocchia be and ~hereby is directed to write a letter to State Assemblyman Perry Duryea in opposition to An Act Senate ~3149 Assembly ~5093 in relation to certain exception from tax on mortgages, now ~n the Legislature. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Martocchia; Councilman Valentine; Justices Clark and Suter. Letters were received from the following: 1. From MKs. Dietrich in relation to erosion of the beach on the sound. 2. a Letter of commendation to Thomas Byrnes and Adam Johnson, Dog Warden, in locating and returning a lost dog to it's owner. A study is being made by the Town Board in relation to STOP signs in the Town of Southold. The T~wn Board of the Town of Southold hereby g~ves formal expression of its loss in the death of William Unkelbach, Mattituck, N.Y. on March 23, 1969. When the Town Board adjourns this day, it does so out of respect to the memory of William Unkelbach, who has served the Town of Southold as a dedicated and conscientious member of the Planning Board, Town of Southold.
