RESOLVED: That the minutes of the meeting of December 8, 1970, be and
they hereby are approved.

RESOLVED: That the next mgeting of the Town Board will be ~held at%~the

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk of the Town of
Southold be and he hereby is directed to transmit this apptica~ion?-tO

icle IX of the Building Zone Ordinance of the Town of Southold.

to the Town Clerk for a Bingo License, and
WHEREAS, the Town Bo~ard has examined the application and after in~ves~ig-
ation duly made findings and determinations as required by law, ~
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Supervisor be and he hereby is
authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the Town Board~th~~ f~£nd-

WHEREAS, George McCarthy has applied to the Town-Board for a single trailer
renewal permit dated December 16, 1970,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the application of George McC~2rth~-
to locate a single trailer off Route 25, Lau~et,~N.Y.-~e and ~y~is
granted for a six month (6) period.

RESOLVED: That the Superintendent of Highways of the Town of So~thol~8~be
authorized to advertise for bids for the repairs and parts ~or tke'track-
assembly on the D-6 caterpillar Bulldozer.

WHEREAS, a petition was received from Gus Schad, § Aresta Drive, Dix Hills,
Suffolk County, N.Y. described in said petition, from "A" Residential
and Agricultural District to "M" Multiple Residence Distriet on Parcel
A and from "A" Residential and Agricultural District to "B-2'
~usiness District on Parcel B,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk, Town of Southold,
be and he hereby is directed to transmit this application to the
P&anSing Board in accordance with Section 901, Subdivision C of Article
IX of the Building Zone Ordinance of the Town of Southold.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Sypervisor Martocchia; Councilmen Valentine
and Rich; Justices Demarest and Suter.
Mr. Edward Latham appeared before the Town B~ rd in relation to wetlands
and the Master Plan. He explained that according to the plan one third
of his farm would be involved and he wished to see the map as soon as
it was a~ailable. The Town Board assured him that the map would be
made available to him.
A letter of thank~ was received from Greenport School for the detective
work done by Sar~eant Howard and Detective Sawicki of the Southold
Town Police on the incident at the Greenport School.
A letter was received from Mrs. Knowles, Peconic, N.Y. stating that she
did not like ~he design of the proposed Police building.
A letter was received from Cutchogue Library thanking the Board for
financial aid.
Supervisor Martocchia thanked the Board for it's cooperation f~or the past
year and wished each one a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Adjournment was at 3:45 P.M.
