Absent: Justice E. Perry Edwards. ~3'J~,~ Moved by Councilman Valentine; seconded by Councilman Rich; -- RESOLVED: That the Town Board make its officia~ visit to Fishers Island on Thursday, August 13, 1970. The meeting will be called to order~a~~ 1:~ P.M. in the Fishers Island School House, Supervisor Martocchia is hereby authorized to provide transportation, said boat to leave. Moved by Councilman Rich~ seconded by Councilman Valentine; WHEREAS, Marian Council ~3852, Knights of Columbus, Cutchogue, N.Y. applied to the Town Clerk for a Bingo License, and WI4_EREAS, the Town Board has examined the application and after investig- ation duly made findings and determinations as required by law, NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Supervisor be and ~ hereby is authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the Town Board the findings and determinations as required by law, and it is further RESOI~ED: That the Town Clerk be and he hereby is directed to issue a Bingo License to the Marian Council ~3852, Knights of Columbus. Mobed by Justice Suter; seconded by Councilman Rich; RESOLVED: That the Supervisor, Albert Martocchia, be and he hereby is authorized to enter into a lease for two years with Ethel and Samuel Worter for a tract of vacant land to be used for beach purposes at the end of South Harbor Lane, Southold, N.Y. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Martocchia; Councilmen Valentine; and Rich; Justices Demarest and Suter. Moved by Councilman Valentine; seconded by Councilman Rich~ RESOLVED: That all Life Guards and Attendants of Southold own Beach be paid $2.25 per hour plus 15¢ per hr. for every year worked~up to a max- imum of $2.75 per.hour. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Superv isor Martocchia; Councilmen Valentine and Rich; Justices Demarest and Suter. Moved by Councilman Valentine; seconded by Councilman Rich; WHEREAS, Case Bros. Cutchogue, N.Y. by petition verified April 6, 1970, petitioned the Town Board for a change of zone of certain property deHcribed in said petition from "A~' Residential and Agricultural District to "M" Multiple Residents District, and WHEP~EAS, the said petition was referred to the Southold Town Planning Board for official recommendations and reports, and WHEREAS, the Town Board pursuant to due notice thereof, held a hearing thereon on the 9th day of June, 1970, at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the relief demanded in said petition be and the same is in all respects DENIED· Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Martocchia; Councilmen Valentine and Rich; Justices Demarest and Suter. Moved by Justice Suter; seconded by Councilman Valentine; RESOLVED: That the Superintendent of Highways of the Town of Southold, be authorized to advertise for bids and to purchase from the lowest responsible bidder, the following items, more or less, as may be needed: 1,000 ft. 12" dia. 16 ga. x 10' lg. Moved by Justice Suter; seconded by Councilman Demarest; WHEREAS, Sophie Saunders applied to the Town Board for a single trailer renewal permit dated July 13, 1970, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the application of Sophie ~aunders to locate a single trailer on her property, Main Rd., Laurel, N.Y. be and hereby is granted for a period of six months. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Martocchia; Councilmen Valentine and Rich; Justices Demarest and Suter. Moved by Councilman Rich; seconded by Councilman Valentine; WHEREAS, Isadore Krupski applied to the Town Board for a single trailer renewal permit dated July 13, 1970, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the application of Isadore Krupski to locate a single trailer on his property, Peconic, N.Y. be and hereby is granted for a period of six months. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Martocchia; Councilmen Valentine and Rich; Justices Demarest and Suter. Moved by Councilman Valentine; seconded by Justice Suter; WHEREAS, Roy A. Schelin applied to the Town Board for a single trailer renewal permit dated July 13, 1970, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the application of Roy A. Schelin t o locate a single trailer on his property, John's Rd., (Private Road) E/S Main Rd., Mattituck, N.Y. be and hereby is granted for a period of six months. Moved by Councilman Valentine; seoonded by Justice Suter; WHEREAS~ a petition was received from Jack Driscoll and Rene Gendron re- questing a change of zone of certain property, Mattituck, N.Y. described in said petition from ~A" Res. & Agric. Dist. to "B" Business District, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That ~e Town Clerk of the Town of Southold be and he hereby is directed to transmit this application to the Planning Board in accordance with Section 901, Subdivision C of Article IX of the Building Zone Ordinacne of the Town of Sot~old. Engineer, for the completion of roads and other improvements in the subdivision owned by James Dean and known as "DAWNSVIEW" located at Cutchgg~s, N.Y.
