Martocchia, 16 South Street, Greenport, New York, at 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 28, 1972, with the following present: Deputy Supervisor Louis M. Demarest, Councilman~ James H. Rich, Jr., Councilman James F. Homan, Justice Marti~-Suter.~ Absent: Supervisor Albert M. Martocchia, and Justice E. Perry Edwards. Moved by Justice Suter, seconded by Councilma~n Homart, it was.- RESOLVED.: That the minutes of March 7, 1972 be and they hereby. are approved. - Vote of t~e Town Board.: Ayes: Deputy Supervisor Demarest,. Councilman Homan, it was RESOLVEDj that the reports of the Police Department for the month of February 1972 be accepted by the Town Board and placed~on file. Vote of the Town Board: Ayes: Deputy Supervisor Demarest, Councilman Rich, Councilman Homan, Justiee~Suter. ~ Moved by Councilman Rich, seconded by Councilman Homan, WHEREAS, William Lieblein of Southold has volunteered to place navigation stakes in the entrance of Arshamomaque Pond for the year 1972, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that William Lieblein be and hereby is authorized by the Southold Town Board to place markers at a cost not to exceed $50.00. Vote of the Town Board: Ayes: Deputy Supervisor Demarest, Councilman Homan, Justice Suter, Councilman Rich. Moved by Councilman Rich, seconded by Justice Suter, it was RESOLVED,-that Stephen Witherppoon be and he hereby is appointed to the Narcotic Guidance Council of the Town of Southold. Moved by Councilman Homan, seconded by Councilman Rich, it was RESOLVED, that Deputy Supervisor Demarest be and he hereby is authorized to sign the necessary papers for An Act, Bill No. 11030, Assembly Bill to confer certain powers on the park commissioners of the Southo~ Park District of Southold, and the Town Board of such Town. Moved by Justice Suter,i s:econded by COun~iilman Homan, WHEREAS, the Burton Potter Post ~185., American Legion, Greenport, New York, applied to the Town Clerk fora Bingo License Amendment, and WHEREAS, the Town Board has examined the application, and after ~investigation duly made findings and determinations as required by law, o : NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that' the Deputy Supervisor be and he hiereby is iauthorized and directed to execute on behalf of the Town Board, the ~findings and determinations required, by law, and it is further RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk be and he hereby is directed to issue an amended Bingo License to the Burton Potter Post ~185, American Legion, Greenport, New York. By changing from "A" Residential and Agricultural District to"C" Light Industrial District, the following described property, to wit: Premises at New Suffolk in the Town of Southold being all that land south of Jackson Street and east of First Street to t~e ordinary high water mark of Cutchogue Harbor excepting, however,- so much of said premises as is presently within the "C" Ligh~ Industrial District. II.
