Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Councilman Valentine; WHEREAS, Dahl Oil CO. was the lowest bidder for fuel diesel oil for .the Fishers Island Ferry District, and ~HEREAS, THE Southold Town Board. approved the action of the Fishers Island Ferry District in accepting the lowest bidder, Dahl Oil CO., (llCper gai.) to furnish diesel, oil to the Fishers Island Ferry~Dist~ict, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Supervisor Lester M. Albertson .be and 'he hereby is authorized and ~directed to execute said contract- on behalf of the Town Board. Bay amending Article III, Section:300, of said Ordinance by add- ing-a new subdivision, to-be subdivision 4A, to rea~ as follows: 4A. Stables and riding academies, when authorized as a special exception by the Board of Appeals as hereinafter provided. A delegation of people from Captain Kidd Estates appeared before the Board pretesting a concrete slab which has been placed at the end of the public highway, Mr. Price, Supt, of Highways, informed them that the's~abwould be taken away as he had already informed the owners to ~emove.,it~ ~elegat~on of people from Goose Bay Estates and-residents of Goose Bay Area appeared before the Board to request the County to raise the bridge and dredge Goose Creek as the creek channel is filling ~in and the bridge is too low to operate large boats under it.
