MEETING OF MAY 19, 1964
The Southold TOwn Board met at the office of the supervisor, Lester
M.. &lhertson, on Tuesday,~ May..19, 1964, at Greenport, .New
meeting was called to order at 3:00 P.M. with the following pre'sen~,:

RESOLVED: That ~he Town Clerk be and he hereby is directed to request
the Long Island Lighting Company to install five (5) 400 W-MU lights
with long brackets a~d remove two (2) 10~ cp lights along new road
in Mat~ituck as per enclosed survey of April 28, 1964, all in the
Mattituck Light District.

WHEREAS, Cutchogue F/re Department requests permission to use the
parking lot which is under lease to the Town of Southold and sitUated
across the street from the Cutchogue Fire Department, on August 22, 1964,
RESOLVED: That the Cutchogue Fire Department be granted the use of
said par~/i~g lot on A~gust 22, 1964.

WHEREAS, Goose Bay Estates Civic Association applied to the Town Board
for financial Assistance in dredging the entrance of Goose Creek, a
Town waterway in the Town of Southold,
N(~, THEREFORE, BE IT RE~OLVED; That Supervisor Lester M. Albertson
be and he hereby is authorized'to contribute Town Funds in an amount
equal to one half of the total cost up to but not to exceed the sum
of $475.0~ toward the cost of dredging the entrance of ~oose Creek,
Southold, L.I., N.Y.

WHEREAS, the Commissioners of the Fishers Island Ferry District Wish
to enter into a bareboat charter for the use of the M/V Yankee or
the M/V Block Island for a period commencing at 7:00 A.M. on May 18,
1964 and shall end ah 7=~0 A.M. on May 23, 1964 at a lump sum payment
of $500.~ to cover the first two days ~harter and if the charterer
shall elct to continue the charter thereafter it shall pay the owner
at the rate of $2~0.~0 per deF for each additional day or part there-
of for the ~$/V yankee, and a lump sum minimum~yment of $6~.0~ to
cover the first two (2) days charter and if the charterer shall elect
to continue the charter thereafter it shall ~pay the owner at the rate
