Moved by Justice Tmthill; seconded-by councilman Valentine; RESOLVED: That ~he Town Clerk be and he hereby is directed to request the Long Island Lighting Company to install five (5) 400 W-MU lights with long brackets a~d remove two (2) 10~ cp lights along new road in Mat~ituck as per enclosed survey of April 28, 1964, all in the Mattituck Light District. Vote of TOwn Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Councilma~Valentine; seconded by Justice Tuthill; WHEREAS, Cutchogue F/re Department requests permission to use the parking lot which is under lease to the Town of Southold and sitUated across the street from the Cutchogue Fire Department, on August 22, 1964, RESOLVED: That the Cutchogue Fire Department be granted the use of said par~/i~g lot on A~gust 22, 1964. Moved by Justice clark~ seconded by Councilman Valentine; WHEREAS, Goose Bay Estates Civic Association applied to the Town Board for financial Assistance in dredging the entrance of Goose Creek, a Town waterway in the Town of Southold, N(~, THEREFORE, BE IT RE~OLVED; That Supervisor Lester M. Albertson be and he hereby is authorized'to contribute Town Funds in an amount equal to one half of the total cost up to but not to exceed the sum of $475.0~ toward the cost of dredging the entrance of ~oose Creek, Southold, L.I., N.Y. Albertson was directed to negotiate for more. property adjacent to T~Wn Property on Mi~Ale Road, Cutch~g=e;, ~N.Y.~/ He was also authorized to proceed with acquisition of beach property between'First a~d Second Street, New Suffolk, Supervisor Albertson is making all necessary arrangements~fo~ t~ coming season by hav£ng the Beaches clea~ed, the. floats, re=ondit~oned -an~ arranging for .Li~e G~ards for the beaches A petition was received from property owners adjacent to_Jockey · Creek for additional ~redging.
