Moved by Councilman Demarest; seconded by Councilman Valentine; W~RREAS, the Town Board ~n its own motion proposed a change of the Buildin~ Zone Ordinance of the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, N.Y. and W~RREAS, the petition was referred to the Planning Board for its official r~ecOmmendation and report, and WHEREAS, the Town Board pursuant to due notice thereof held a hearing on March 24, 1964 at which time alliinterested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED~ That the Building Zone Ordinance of the Town of Southold, Suffolk ounty, New York be amended as follows: to wit; ~ 1. By amending Article III, Section 308, Subdivision 6 of said Ordin- ande by !adding~ a new subdivision 6A to rea~ as follows: 6A. Public utility buildings, structures, or facilities, when authorized as a special exception by the Board of Appeals as hereinafter provided. Nelson of Mattituck, N.Y. appeared before the Board requesting the Town do something about the water which runs across his property. He also protested against the Town leasing the Mattituck Air Base. ~Mr. Atberfc~Martocchia appeared on behalf of the residents of 7th St. Greenport protesting the parking of cars by teachers and students on 7th st. all day when the school maintains area for th~s purpose. Mr. Robert Trubembach, Mr. Sc~warting and'Hr. Stephen Campbell~:~W~'J~- present at t~e meeting.
