me, ting was called to order at 3:00 P.M. with the following present:
Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen~Dema~est and Grathwohl; Justices
Tuthill--and clark; Supt. of Highways Price; TOWn Attorney Tasker and
Town ~ lerk Richmond.

.WHEREAS, WoodhOllow properties, Inc., a~ domestic corporation having
its Of~ic~ and principal~ place-of business at 3 Glen Lane, Glenwood,
New York, made application dated September 3, 1963 to the Town Board
to dedicate certain highways (i).--Plum Island Lane (2) Parkview Lane
(3) Three Waters Lane (4) Sound View Road (5) North°Sea. Drive (6) Ryder
Landing (7) Ryder Farm Lane, being more fully described in said petit-
ion;'-~t~gether with-releases executed by the-.ownere thereof, and
WHEREAS,, the Highway Superintendent has inspected said highways and
has advised the Town Board that said proposed highways comply in
'all ~respects to the specifications for the dedication of highways in
-the TOWn Of :~outhold,
\ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That in accordance with Section 171
of the Highway Law of the State of New York, consent be and the same
is hereby given to the Supt. of Highways to make an order~ laying out
the aforesaid highways -to consist of land described in said applica-
tion, and be it further
RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk be and he hereby is authorized and directed
to forthwith cause the dedication and release and deeds to be recorded
~n the office of ~he Clerk of the County of .Suff.o~lk, N.ew~ ~o~ _ ~

W~EREAS~, the Board of Commissioners of t~e .Fishers .Island Ferry District
adopted .a resolution increasing ~the sal ~ary gf Christian J. Marshall, Re-
lief Purser, from $1.25 per~ hour to $1.50 per hour, and
WHEREAS, pursuant-to the special act of the Legislature creating.:s~id
District, such action of the ~oard of Ferry Distri~ct COmmissioners
subject to the approval of the Town Board of the Town of Southold, and
WHEREAS, a copy of said resolution has been submitted to .the Board for
the purpose of approving the action' of the Ferry. District Commissioners,
RESOLVED: That the Town BOard of the Town of Southold hereby~ apprQ~
the action of the Board of Commissioners of the Fishers Island :Fe~y
District in increasing the salary of Christian J. 'Marshall..~frg~;~$1,25
to $1.50 per hour.

RESOLVED: That Marian Griffin be engage~ under contract to provide
mail transfer and haulage service for the Fishers Island Ferr~-~.istrict
fDr a period from Jan. 1, 1964 through Dec. 31, 1964 inclusive in accord-
ance with terms and conditions, of the contract s~bmitted by..- the Board
of Commissioners, and be it-further .
RESOLVED: That the effective date of such service shall be January
~1964 and the amount of compensation for such service s~all, be $115.00
~per month, payable monthly.

The Supt. of Highways, Harold D. Price, in accordance.with
of the Highway Law, presented the agreement, for the expenditures: of
Hoghway monies made by and between~Harold--D. Price, ToWn Supt.~of Hig -
wa~s and the ~own Board for. the. year 19.64.~ The Town Board ~pprovgd this
agreement, subjec~ to the approval of the County, Superintendent of
Highways ~.
