Moved by Councilman Demarest; seconded by Justice clark; WHEREAS,~Race Point Corporation by petition Verified the 18th day of September, 1963, petitioned the Town Board for a-change of zone of certain real property described in said petition, from "A" Residential and Agricultural District to "B" Business District, and WHEREAS, the said petition was referred to the Planning Bard for its official recommendation and report, and W~ER-E~$, the Board, pursuant to due notice thereof, held a hearing thereon on ~ember 14, 1963, at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, NOW, THER~ORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Southold Town Building Zone ~rdi~ance including the Building Zone Maps be amended from "A" Resid- ential and Agricultural District to "B" Business District the following descrlibed property: ALL that certain tract of parcel of land situated at Fishers Island, in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York and more partic- ularly bounded and described as follows: Parcel indicated-as No. 2 on map of Plan of Fort H. G. Wright Reser- vation by ~handler & Palmer, Revised February 21, 1957; Beginning at a point on the Northwesterly line of Whistler Avenue, said point being located 210.48 feet South of a point which is 5518.48 feet west of the said "PROS" monument and thence running North 25 degrees 10' West 159.9 feet; thence South 53 degrees 15' West 89.31 feet; thence 67 degrees 17' West 157.85 feet; thence North 43 deg~es 06' West 377.41 feet; ~heseelast four lines abutting Northeasterly and North- westerly om land of the said Ferry District; thence South 48 degrees 08' West 108.85 feet abutting Northwesterly on the land designated as "U.S.C.G. C. 2~four yard dump body with Model A 50-~0 ton capacity hoist, or equal, specifications of which may be obtained at t'he office of the Supt. of Highways, Peconic, N.Y. Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Councilman Grathwoht; WHEREAS, Carl Frelix, Jr. applied to the Town Board for a single trailer renewal permit dated Nov. 27, 1963, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the application of Carl Frelix, Jr. to locate a single trailer on property of Herman Hubbard, north side of Main Toad, Mattituck, N.Y. be and hereby is granted for year round occupancy for a one year period. Moved by Councilman Grath~hl; seconded by Justice Tuthitl: WHEREAS, Minnie Wilson applied to the Town Board for a single trailer renewal permit dated Nov. 26, 1963, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the application of Minnie Wilson to locate a single trailer on the property of claude Wil~on, Middle Rd. Cutchogue, N.Y. he and hereby is granted for year round occupancy for a period of one year, December 10, 1963. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Councilman Demarest; WHEREAS, Southold American Legion G.T.G.Post $803 of Southold, N.Y. applied to the TOWn Board for a Bingo License Amendment,'and WHEREAS, the. Town Board has examined the application and after investigation duly made findings and determinations as required by law, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Supervisor be and he hereby is Suthorized and directed to execute on behalf of the Board the findings-and determinations as required by law, and it is further RESOLVED:iT~at the Town Clerk be and he hereby is directed to issue an Amended Bingo License to the Southold ~merican Legion G.T.G. Ohlmann to locate a single trailer on his property, Bay Road, Southold, New York be and the same hereby is denied. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Tuthill: RESOLVED: That John Nierodzi~ of Peconic, New York, be and he hereby is appointed School Traffic Officer at a salary of $6.50 per day for each school day worked, effective as of December 11, 1963, he to serve at the pleasure of the Town Board. Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by JuStice Clark; RESOLVED: That the supervisor be and he hereby is authorized to commun- icate with the State Traffic Commission and request a 30 MPH speed zpne be discontinued ~est of Bay Avenue, Mattituck, N.Y. on Route 25. Recess was called ah 4:00 P.M. to inspect roads at Orient, New York and reconvened at 4:30 P.M. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Councilman Demarest; RESOLVED: That General Bills in the amount of $7760.93; Lighting Dis- trict Bills in the amount of $2,958.17 and Fishers Island Ferry District Bills in the amount of $12,887.53 be and the same are hereby ordered paid.
