Albertson, 16 South-Street,'~Greenport, N.Y. on December 4, 1963, The meeting was called to_order at 9:00.A.M. with the fo!lowing~ ~ present: Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Grathwohl; Justice Clark; TOWn Attorney Tasker and Town Clerk Richmond. Moved by Councilman Grathwohl; seconded by Justice Clark; RESOLVED: That Bond No. 73S-3636 BC, issued by the Aetna casualty and Surety Company in the name of Richard L. Woodhull in the sum of $50,000.00 be and the same is hereby approved as to its form, manner of execution and sufficiency of sureties therein. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Grathwohl; Justice Clark. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by councilman Gra~hwohl; RESOLVED: That a general bill in the amount of $504.50 be and the same is hereby ordered paid. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-~upervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Grathwohl; J~stice Clark. Moved by councilman Grathwohl; seconded by Councilman Demarest; RESOLVED: That a petty cash be established for the Receiver of Taxes in the amonnt of $100.00. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Grathwohl; Justice Clark. Moved by Councilman Demarest; seconded by Justice Clark; RESOLVED: That sarah VanRyswyk of Mattituck, ~.Y., Douglas Clark, of Greenport, N.Y. and Gladys Csajko of Southold, N.Y. be and they hereby are appointed Dog Enumerators for the year 1964, Town o Southold, N.Y. Vote of TOWn Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; councilmen Demarest ~d Grathwoht; Justice Clark. Moved by Councilman Demarest; seconded by Councilman Grathwohl; WHEREAS, the county of Suffolk owns and operates a dredge and other equipment suitable for dredging channels and depositing fill on designated areas, and WHEREAS, the Town of Southold has requested that the said dredge and other equipment be used in connection with the dredging of COREY CREEK, Town of Southold, and WHEREAS, the Supervisor of the Town of Southold by resolution duly adopted by the Town Board of the said Town of So~thold has been auth' orized and directed to sign for and on behalf of the Town of South- old assurances to the County of Suffolk that the said Town of SOuth- old will perform all acts required to be performed by said Town in 263 connection with the preparation for the dredging operation as afore- said and obtaining of all necessary easements and rights of way for said ~redging o~eration and use of areas indicated and rights of way for said dredging operation and use of areas indicated on the attach- ed map for spoil areas together with all necessary rights incidental to said ~redging operation, NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the benefits to the Town of Southold, as aforesaid, the Town of Southold hereby as~ares the C~Ounty of Suffolk that it will (a) furnish, free of cost to%~ the County of Suffolk, all lands, easements, rights of way and spoil disposal areas necessary for the new work and subsequent mainten- ance when and if required for the dredging operat-ion at CORE¥ CREEK all as shown on the attached map, and (b) Hold and s~we the County of Suffolk free from any claims or damages. resulting from said improvement or resulting in any way from the said dredging operation or the use of equipment at the said COREY CREEK or use of any spoil area or any other affected by said dredging operation. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Grathwohl; Justice Clark. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Councilman Grathwohl; WHEREAS, Section 105 of the Town Law provides that the Town Officers and Employees who receive or disburse monies of the Town shall account to the Town Board for all monies received and disbursed by them on or after the 28th day of December b~t not later than the 31st day of December in each year, and WHEREAS, the Town Board deems it necessary to engage a public accountant to prepare the aforesaid annual account for all Town Officers and Employee~ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Town Board engage the services-ot Irving Miller, a public Accountant, to make the annual audit ~f the books, records, receipts and other documents of the Town Officers and Employees of the Town of Southold, for the fiscal year 1963 at a salary of ~350.00.
