Albe~tson at Greenport, New York, on, Tuesday, November t2, 1963. The meeting was called to order at 3:00 P.M. with the folt~g present: ~pervisor Lest~ M. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Councilman Grathwohl; WHEREAS, the Commissioners of the Fisher-s Island. Ferry DiStrict wish to enter into a bareboat charter-for~ use of the M.V. Quonse'~ With the Interstate-Navigation Company for, a period commeneing at 7:O~ A.M. on November 11, 1963, and shall end at 7:80 A.M. on the 14th of Nov., 1963 at a lump sum payment of $50~.~0 tOii~over the first two'days charter and if the charter shall elect to continue the charter there- after, he sha-lt~pay the owner at the~ra~em~of $200.0~-per day~ for each additional day or part thereof, - · I{OW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Southold Town Board approves of the action of the Commissioners of the Fishers Island Ferry'D~str~ict on entering into the contract as above stated with the Interstate Navigation company. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Grathwohl~ Justice Clark. Moved by Councilman Demarest; seconded by Councilman Grathwohl; WHEREAS~~ during .the present fiscal year, the TOWn of Southold has.r.eceived surplus moneys, being Town moneys received from sources other than loans which~are-~ot otherwise committed or appropriated, to wit, from the following sources: 1962 unexpended balance,. RESOLVED= That $8,000.00 of said surplus moneys be and the same h~reby are transferred to the Highway Account entitled SNOW & MISCELLANEOUS accounts and that the amount heretofore appropriated.for.such fund or accoUnt,s,be and the same hereby is increased by the amount of $8,000.00. Moved ~by Councilman Demarest; seconded by Justice Clark; WHEREAS, stanley Sledzieski and Helen Sledzieski his wife, made applic- ation~dated October 18, 1963, to the Town Board to dedicate a certain highw&y~-at Mattituck, New York, to be known as RUTH .ROAD being more fully-deBcr~ibed in said petition., to~ether with releases executed by the owners thereof, and WHEREASes/. the Highway Superintendent has inspected said .highway and has adviSedf~%the Town Board that said proposed highway complies in all res- pecks ;~o.the specifications for the dedication of hSghways in the Town of Southold, NOW,, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:. That in accordance with Section 171 of the!, ~ighway Law of the State of New York, consent be and the same is hereby given ~o the Superintendent of Highways to make an order laying o~t the aforesaid Highway to consist of land described in said applic- ation, and ~BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk be and he hereby is authorized and dire~t- ..ed ~'o forthwith cause the dedication and release and deeds to be record- ed 'in the office of. the Clerk of the County of Suffolk, New .York. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Grathwohl; Justice Clark. Moved by Councilman Demarest; seconded by Councilman Grathwohl; RESOLVED: That General Bills in the amount of $13,988.95; Lighting District Bills in the amount of $3,018.54 and Fishers Island Ferry District Bil~ls in the amount of $20,512.79 be and the same are hereby ordered paid. ~ Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; cOUnCilmen Demarest and Grathwohl; Justice Cl~rk. Moved by Justice Clark; seceded by Councilman Demarest; RESOLVED: .That this meeting be recessed at 4:05 P.M. and reconvene at 7:30 P.M.
