RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk be and he hereby is directed to request
the Long Island Lighting Company to install six (6) MV street lights
on poles NYT-4, NYT-tT, NYT& LIL-178, LIL-182J, LIL-~86 and LIL-115
on Main Road, Cutchogue, N.Y. all in the Cutchogue Light District.

Grathwohl; Justices Tuthill and Clark.

RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk be and he hereby is directed to request
the Long Island Lighting Company to install one (1) 400 cp street light
on Krouse Rd., NYT pole $~, Mattituck, N.Y. in the Mattituck Light Dist.

Supervisor Albertson advised the Town Board that the County Dredge is
presently 'o~erating in Sterling Basin.
Professor Cross' letter thanking the Board for a street light at Kerwin
Blvd. and a letter from the official Board of the Cutchog~ Methc~ist
Church thanking volunteer constable who handlmd ~ch traffic through
the summer were read.
The Town Attorney was directed to prepare the necessary ordinance for
removal Of diseased trees on private property.

RESOLVED: That this Town Board does hereby prelmare and approve-as the
preliminary budget of this Town for the fiscal year beginning on the
1st day of January 1964 the itemized statement of estimat~revenues
and expenditures hereto attached and made a part of this resolution,
and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED: That such preliminary budget shall be filed in the
office of the Town Clerk where it shall be available for inspection
by any onterested person at all reasonable hours, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED: That this board shall meet at 7:30 P.M. on the 6th
day of November, 1963, for the purpose of holding a public hearing up-
on such prelimina~y budget, and be it
FURTHER RES0~VED: That the Town Clerk give notice of such hearing in
the manner provided in Section 113 of the TOWn Law, and that such' notice
be published in substantially the following form:- NOTICE OF HEARING
UPON PRELIMINARY BUDGET ~
NOTICE is hereby given that the preliminary budget of the Town of
South6id, 'SuffOlk County, New YOrk, for the fiseal year beginning
January 1st, 1964, has been completed and filed in the office of the
Town Clerk at Southold, New York, where it is available for inspection
by any interested person at all 'reasonable hours.
FURTHER NOTICE is hereby given that. the Town Board of the Town- of
$outhold will meet and review said preliminary budget and hold a public
hearing thereupon, at the Office of the Supervisor, 16 South Street,
Greenport, New York, in said ToWn, at 7:30 P.M. on the 6th day of Nov-
ember, 1963, and that at such hearing any person may be heard in favor
of or against the preliminary budget, as compiled or for or against
any item or items therein contained.
AND FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Section 113 of the Town
Law, that the foll6w~h~ are proposed yearly salaries of Town officers
of this Town to wit:-
