Albertson, at Greenport, N.Y. on Tuesday, May 28, 1963 at 3:00 P.M. with the following present: Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Grathwohl; Justices Tuthill and Clark; Supt. of Highways Price; Town Attorney Tasker and Town Clerk Richmond. . Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Tuthill; RESOLVED: That the minutes of May 7, 1963 and the special meeting of May 21, 1963,be and they hereby are duly approved. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Grathwohl; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Councilman Demarest; seconded by Justice Clark; RESOLVED: That the next regular monthly meeting of the Town Board will be held at the ..office of the Supervisor, Lester M. John Gada for a change zone from "A" ReSidential and Agricultural District to "B, Business District on certain property on Fishers Island, N.Y., NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That a publ~ic hearing will be.held.by the Southold Town Board at the Fishers Island Theatre, Fishers I~land, N.Y. on Wednesday, June 19, 1963~at 7:00 P~M, on the above mentioned petition and that the Town Cler~k be and he hereby is authorized and directed to cause a notice of~s~aid hearing to be published in the Suffolk Times and ~he New London Day pursuant to the retirements of law. vote of Town Uoard: Ayes-Supervisor Alber~son; Councilmen Demarest and Grathwohl; Justices Tuthi~t and Clark. NOW,-THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Southold Town Board approves the action of the Fishers Island Ferry District Commissioners in the.hiring of John Appelt as inspector of dock work and ramp relocation. Moved by Councilman Grathwohl; seconded by Justice Tuthill: WHEREAS,~ ~FisherS Island Ferry District Commissioners request ~the approval of hiring Harry Guest at $1.75 per hour, and Mildred Dixon at $1.50 per hour as at-tendants of Elizabeth Airfield, Fishers Island, N,Y. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Southold Town Board approves the action Of the Fishers Island Ferry. District Commissioners in the hiring of Harry Gues_t and Mildred Dixon as attendants of Elizabeth Airfield. Moved by Councilman Grathwohl; SecOnded by Justice Tuthill: WHEREAS, CUtchogue Fire Department requests ~permission to use the parking lot which is under lease to the Town c~ ~outhold, and is situated across the streetffrom the Cutchogue Fire Department on July 13 and August 24, 1963, RESOLVED: That the Cutchogue Fire Department be granted, theuusetof said parking lot on July 13 and August 14, 1963. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Tuthill: WHEREAS, Elliott Winter has applied to the Town Board for a single trailer renewal permit, dated April 10, 1963, NOW, ~THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the application of Etliott Winter to locate a single trailer on the property of Adam V. Doroski, Bay AVe. Cutchogue, N.Y. be and hereby is extended for year round occupancy for a one year ~period. Terry, Building Inspector, Town of Southold, be and he hereby is authorized to attend Conference of Mayor and Officers on June 19 through- 24th 1963, at Lake Placid, New ~ork, and BE ST FURTHER RESOLVED: That the necesaary expenses incurred while attending said conference be a legal charge against the Town of Southold. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Councilman Demarest; RESOLVED: That the Supt. of Highways of the Town of Southold be authorize]d to purchase one (1) 1963 Cub ~adet Tractor with Rotary mower, from the Long Island Produce and F~rtiiizer Company, Inc. Southoid, ~N.Y. ior the s~m of eight hundred ($800.~0) Dollars. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Grathwohl; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Councilman Grathwhi: seconded by Justice Tuthill: RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk be and he hereby is directed to request the Long Island Lighting Company to remove one 100 cp street light and replace with one MV street light on corner of First and King Street, New Suffolk, and also to place one M.V. street light on N.Y.T. CO., Pole %2, Cases Lane, Cutchogue, N.Y. in the Cutchogue Light District.
