Smpervisor's Office, 16 South Street, Greenport-, New.York, on Tuesday, April l~r 1963, the members of the Bo,ard having waived notice of the time, place purpose of the meeting. The meeting was ca!ted to order Sy the~ supervisor, Lester M. Albertson, at 2:00 ~.M. with the following present:Supervisor Albertso~; Co~nciimen Demarest, and Grathwohl; Justices Tuthill and Clark; Town Attorney Tasker and Town Clerk Richmond. Moved by Councilman Demarest; seconded by Councilman-Grathwohl; WHEREAS, Robert Waddington,.Jr. was the lowest bidder ($16,042.00)i for making alterations and additions to the Fishers Island District Terminal Building, located at Fishers Island, New York, RESOLVED: That the be Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervis°r Alberts°n; Councilmen ~Dem~_sres~.; and Grathwohl; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Commissioners of the Fishers Island Ferry District wish to enter into a bareboat charter with the Interstate Navig- ation Company for a period commencing May 13, 1963, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT.RESOLVED: That the So~thold TOWn Board approves the~ action of':the Commissioners of the Fist~rs Island Ferry District andd=athwohl;~Justices .Tuthitl and Clark. Richmond Town Clerk MEETING OF APRIL 23, 1963 The Southold TOWn Board met at the office of Supervisor~Lester M~ Albert-' son, 16 South Street, Greenport, New York, on April 23, 1963. The meeting was called to order at 3=00 P.M. with the following present; Supervisor Alberts6n;;Councilman Demarest~ Justices Tuthill and Clark; Town Attorney Tasker; Supt. of Highways Price and Town-clerk Richmond. Moved by-Ju'stice Clark; seconded by Councilman Demarest; RESOLVED: ~That the minutes of April 9, 1963 be and they are hereby duly approved~ Vote of Town Board: Ayes-supervisor Albertson; Councilman Demarest; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Councilman Demarestl RESOLVED: That the minutes of the Special me~ting April 16, 1963 be and hereby are 'duly approved. Moved by,Justice Clark; seconded by Councilman Demarest; wHEREAS, supervisor Albertson had the following two estimates on extending the present bulkhead at Gull Pond: New Suffolk D~ck Builders $29.50 per foot Ralph Preston ~nc. .28.25 per foot and WHE~EAS,~Ralph Preston Inc. was the lowest bidder, NOW, THEREFORE, BE iT RESOLVED: That Supervisor Albertson be and he here- by isauthorized to enter into a contract with Ralph Preston Inc. for exten~ing~the P~esent bulkhead at Gull Pond. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest; Justices Tuthill and Clark.. Moved by Councilman Demarest; seconded by Justice Clark; ~EREAs, a petition wasrreceived from residents of East Marion-for street lights on-:Gillette Drive and East Gillette Drive in Marion Manor Develop- ment, RESOLVED, That the supervisor request the Long Island Lighting company to make a survey of the Marion Manor area. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilman Demarest; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Councilman Demarest; seconded by Justice Clark; wHEREAS, the term of Serge J. Doyen, Jr. as a member of the Board of Appeals expires April 19, 1963, WHEREAS, Serge J. Doyen, Jr. has rendered a most valuable service as a member of the BOard of Appeals of the Town of Southold, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Serge J. Doyen, Jr. be and he hereby is reappointed a member of the Board of Appeals of the Town of Southold for a term of five years, such term expiring on April 19, 1968.
