Albertson, at Greenport, N.Y. on TUesday, March 26, 19631 The meeting
was called to order at 3:00 P.M. with the following present: Supervisor
Councilmen Demarest and Grathwohl; ill and Clakk;
; Town Attorney Tasker and Richmond.

RESOLVED: That the regular meeting of the Town BOardwill be held at the

to'adVertise for bids and contract for making alterations and additions
to the Fishers Island FerryDistrict Terminal Building, located at
Fishers Island, N.Y.,
RESOLVED: That the right is reserved to reject any particular bid or bids
and to rej'~ct all bids. The Town Board of the TOWn of Southold or the
Board of Commissioners if authorized may accept or reject any bid and
maY award the contract to that bidder whose bid is deemed nmost favor-
able to thel district. The acceptance of any bid by the commissioners
of the F~rry District shall be subject to the approval
of of th~ Town of Southold, N.Y. and be it resolved that
the Board approves the action of the Co~missioners of the
FiShers ISland Ferry DiStr~ict.

Board of Commissioners , if authorized, may accept or reject any bid and
may awardthe'contract to that bidder whose bid is deemed most favorable

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND' THE ORDINANCE ~OPTED BY ~.THE..
TOWN OF SO~THOLD, SUFFOLK COUNTY, NEW YORK, AUT~ORIZiNG
THE CONDUCT OF BiNGo BY CErTAiN ORGANIZATIONS ~$R
CERTAIN P~RPOSES IN SUCH TOWN.
Section 1. Purpose. The purpose of this ordinance is to amend a~. ord-.
inance ado~ed by the Town Board of the Town of Soutbold, SuffOlk
County, New York, dated July 28, 1958, authorizing the conduct Of bingo
in such town to change the reference in such' ordinance fr¢
14-G of the General Municipal. Law to Article i~-H of
ipal Law~ as so renumbered by Chapter 438of the Laws
set forth therein the following additi,onal
strictions concerning the conduct of the ~ame of bingo by an autho~iZe~
organization in such Town as required by Section 479 of the General
Municipal Law of the State of New York as amended by Chapter 438 of th~
Laws of 1962:
BE IT ~SOLVED AND ORDAINED, that it shall be lawful ~or any
organization, as defined /_n Section 476 of Article 14,H of the Ge~ral
Municipal Law, upon obtaining the required license, to conduct the!
of bingo within the territorial limits of the Town of e~t
to the provisions of this ordinance, Article 14-H of. the Generi
ipal LaW and Article 19-B Df the Executive Law, and the followingi
restrictions:
1. No person, firm, association, corporation or organiz-
ation other than a licencee under, the provisions of Article 14-H of the
General Municipal Law, shall conduct such game or shall lease or other-
wise make available for conducting, bingo'a hall or other premises for
any consideration what soever, direct or indirect.
2. No bingo games shall be held, operated or conducted on
or within any leased p~emises if rental under such lease is to'be paid,
,~holly or partly, on the basis of a percentage of the receipts~or
net profits derived from the operation of such ga~e." 'i '
3. No authorized organiza~i0n licensed under ~he..prov~i~ns
of.Article 14-H. of the General Municipal Law shall purchase, or redeive
any supplies or equipment specifically designed or adapted[for use in
the conduct of bingo games from other than a supplier' licensed under
the Bingo Control Law or from another authorized organization.
4. The entire net proceeds of any game of bingo and of any
rental shall be exclusively devoted to the lawful purposes of the'-org-
aniz'ation permitted to conduct the same.
'5. No prize shall exceed the sum o~ valum ofttwo hundred fifty
dollars in any single game of bingo.
6. No series of prizes on any one bingo occasion shallaggreg-
ate~ more than one thousand dollars~
7. No person except a bona fide member of any such organization
shall participate in the management or operation of such game.
8. No person shall receive any remuneration for~_~rticipating
in the management'or operation of any game of bingo.
9. The unauthorized conduct of a bingo game and any willful
violation of any' pr~visions of this ordinance shall constitute and be
punishable asaa misdemeanor.

Mobil -"R, A. McCallum ......... .1467 gallon.

WHEREAS, R. A. ~cCallum, Socony Mobil Was the lowest bidder for the
75,000 gals. of special grade-gasoline,
RESOLVED: That Supervisor Lester M~ Albertson be and he hereby is direct-
ed ~to enter into a contract with R. A. McCallum, Socony Mobil for the
purchase ~ 75,000 gallons of special grade gasoline at'the price of
.1467 per gallon for the use of the Southold Town P~liceand Highways
Departments, or aa much thereof aa may he, required during the perio~
from to March 31, 1964.

WHEREAS, Southold Town Planning Board has prepared an officiel report
and recommendation upon amendments pursuant to the provisions of Article
IX of ~he~BUilding Zone Ordinance,
NOW ~BE IT RESOLVED:-~That a public hearing will be held by~.the
at,the gupervisOr's Office, 16 outh Street, Green-
port, N.Y. on Tues~y, April 9, 1963, at 7:30 P.M. 6n the.above mentioned

directed to cause a notice of said hearing to be published in the Suffolk
