meeting was called to order at 3:00 P.M. with the following present:

WHEREAS, a map and plans have been prepared, in such. manner
and in such detail as has heretofore heen determined by the-TOWn BOard
of the Town of Southold relating to the extension of the Cutchogue
Lighting District in said Town, and
W~EREAS, such map or plan has been duly filed in the Town clerk's
Office in said TOWn;, and
WHEREAS, said map or plan was prepared by Otto W. VanTuyl & Son
competentengineers and surveyors duly lic~sedby the State of New York,
showing the boundaries of the proposed district; and
WHEREAS, the boundaries of the proposed district are as follOWs:
BEGINNING at the northerly shore of Great Peconic Bay on the
extension southerly of the center line of Linden Avenue, said point being
the ~outhwesterly corner of the existing Cutchogue Lighting District;
running thence westerly along said shore line about 2700 feet to the cente~
line of Hall's Creek; thence northwesterly and then northerly along the
center line of Hall's Creek to New Suffolk Avenue; thence westerly along
New Suffolk Avenue to the westerly line of land of M. Elak; thence
northerly along the westerly line of land of M. Elak to the Main Road;

WHEREAS, the improvements proposed are the installation and operation
of street lighting facilities on the public highways of said proposed
dist~ict~ and
WHEREAS the proposed method of financing the cost of said improvement
consists of assessments levied on benefited real property within said
proposed District; .and
~ WHEREAS.the maxim~um amount proposed to be expended for said~improvement
is Two Thousand ($2,000.00) Dollars; and
WHEREAS said map or plan describing said improvement is on ~file ~im .the
Town Clerk, s Office for public inspection,
NOW, on motion of Councilman Demarest and seconded .by councilman Grathwohl,
it is hereby
ORDERED that the Town Bo~d of the Town of- Southold shall .meet-'and hold
a public hearing at Village Hall in the Village of Greenport~in said Town
on the 16th day of October, 1962 at 7:30 P.M. on that day, to consider said
map or plan and to hear all persons intereste~~ in the subject thereof
concerning the same, and to take such action thereon as is required or
authorized by law.

to the Planning Board in accordance with Section 9Ol, 'Subdivision
C of Article IX of the Building Zone Ordinance of the Town of South-
old.
