Minutes of the regular monthly meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the
Mattituck Park District held on September 8, 2005, at 7:00 p.m. in the new building at
Veterans Memorial Park, with Commissioners Jerome Zuhoski, Chainnan, and Gerard
Goehringer present, together with John Cushman, Treasurer, and Madeline Haas,
Secetary, Gail Faircloth, Clerk, Edward Grohoski, Maintenance, Mr. Grigonis, Contractor
of new building and Mr. Williamson, a Park volunteer. Absent Commissioner Tom
McCaffery.
The meeting was called to order at 7:07 p.m. by Chairman, Jerome Zuhoski.
On motion of Jerome Zuhoski, seconded by Gerard Goehringer and carried, the
minutes of the August 1 I, 2005 meeting were approved as presented.
On motion of Gerard Goehringer, seconded by Jerome Zuhoski and carried, the
following Treasurer's report was approved and the following bills ordered paid:

Gerard Goehringer asked Edward Grohoski to winterize the bathrooms at
Veterans Park and at the Breakwater.
Commissioners agreed that next year the Volley Ball league agreement has to
state the ending date for use of the court at Breakwater site.
Edward Grohoski was instructed to take down the pine trees that the
Commissioners will specify- at Wolf Pit Lake site.
Edward Grohoski said someone had done damage to the chain link fence at the
Aldrich Lane site.
Commissioners want Joe Shipman to be asked to take the poles down at the Yacht
Club site. Electric has to be taken off the poles before they come down. Lights to be
saved if that are fixable.
On motion of Geqird Goehringer, seconded by Jerome Zuhoski and carried,the
fees for the use of the Lodge will be raised for the coming year. The fees will be $15.00
per head for the first night and $75.00 for the second night The raise in fees is a heat
differential. due to the cost of fuel.
On motion of Gerard Goehringer, seconded by Jerome Zuhoski, Gail Faircloth's
mileage allotment will be raised from thirty (30) cents per mile to forty (40) cents per
mile.
Commissioners asked Edward Grohoski to get cold pack and start patching the
holes in driveways and parking lots of all sites.
Commissioners then went into executive session with Mr. Bob Grigonis regarding
various matters relating to the new building's completion in full. I was dismissed from
the meeting together with Gail Faircloth and Edward Grohoski.
