Islip, NY 11751 RE: DENNIS HRANITZKY 4105 WICKHAM AVE., MATTITUCK SCTM#1 07 -9-2.1 Dear Mr. Selva: The Board of Town Trustees took the following action during its regular meeting held on Wed., August 24, 2005 regarding the above matter: WHEREAS, Environmental Survey, Inc. on behalf of DENNIS HRANITZKY applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of Chapter 97 of the Southold Town Code, the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, applioation dated April 1, 2005 and, WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and recommendations, and, WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said application on August 24, 2005, at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and, WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area, and, WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted concerning this application, and, I Z . . WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standards set forth in Chapter 97 of the South old Town Code, WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of the town, NOW THEREFORE BE IT, RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approve the application of DENNIS HRANITZKY to construct a 4'X 25' fixed dock, 3'X 12' ramp and a 6'X 20' floating dock, and all as depicted on the survey prepared by Treimane A. The proposed action is located within REACH I. The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 95, Watemont Consistency Review ofthe Town of South old Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy Standards. Based upon the infonnation provided on the L WRP Consistency Assessment Fonn submitted to this department, as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that the proposed action is generally CONSISTENT with the Policy Standards and therefore is CONSISTENT with the L WRP provided that the following outstanding items are submitted and standard best management practices are implemented to further the intent ofthe L WRP Policies 5, 6, 10 and 11. 1. To further the intent ofLWRP Policies 5, 6, and 8 and to protect water quality and the health of marine organisms no CCA treated wood, oil based Dreservatives containinl! creosote (CRT) or DentachloroDhenol (PCP), aDDlied to the suñace of wood materials shall be Dermitted in the construction materials of the bulkhead, walkway, dock or ramD. The aDDlicant shall use a decay resistant alternative. 2. The Dronosed detailed construction Dractices and materials have not been identified and should be outlined in writinl! to the Board. 3.
