Dear Mr. Fitzgerald:
The Board of Town Trustees took the following action during its regular meeting held on
Wed., January 19, 2005 regarding the above matter:
WHEREAS, Proper-T Permit Services on behalf of ANDREW WEINER applied to the
Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of Chapter 97 of the Southold
Town Code, the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated July 21,
2004 and,
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation Advisory
Council for their findings and recommendations, and,
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said
application on January 19, 2005, at which time all interested persons were given an
opportunity to be heard, and,
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the
premises in question and the surrounding area, and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted
concerning this application, and,

WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standards set forth in Chapter 97 of the
Southold Town Code,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the
health, safety and general welfare of the people of the town,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT,
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approve the application of ANDREW WEINER
for a docking facility consisting of a 4'X 20' ramp to grade leading to a 4'X 158' fixed
walkway, 32"x 20' aluminum ramp, and a 6'X 20' floating dock secured by 2-pile
dolphins, and as depicted on the project plan prepared by James E. Fitzgerald, Jr.
dated April 13, 2005.
Permit to construct and complete project will expire two years from the date the permit
is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable, and permit issued within six months of the
date of this notification.
Inspections are required at a fee of $50.00 per inspection. (See attached schedule.)
Fees: $332.00

CONSERVATION ADVISORY COUNCIL
TOWN OF SOUTHOLD
At the meeting of the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council held Tuesday,
August 10, 2004, the following recommendation was made:
Moved by Doris McGreevy, seconded by William Cook, it was
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board ofTrustees APPROVAL WITH
CONDITIONS of the Wetland Permit application of ANDREW WEINER to remove the
existing dock and replace with 152' X 4' fixed open catwalk with 3-pile bays at a min.
height of 3.5' above vegetated grade, 20' X 32" aluminum ramp, 6'X 20' float secured by
two 2-pile dolphins, with 15'X 4' ramp to grade at landward end of catwalk.
Located: 2185 Westview Dr., Mattituck. SCTM#107-7-12
The CAC recommends Approval of the application with the Condition no treated lumber
is used and the new docking facility should extend no further seaward than the existing
dock.

I. An application is being submitted to the Board of Trustees for a pennit to:
Remove existing dock and replace with 152' X 4' fIXed open catwalk with 3-
pile bays at a minimum height of 3.5' above vegetated grade; install 20' X 32"
aluminum ramp, 6' X 20' float secured by two 2-pile dolphins, with 15' X 4'
ramp to grade at landward end of catwalk
2. The project described above is proposed on property adjacent to yours. The street ad-

3. The project, which is subject to Environmental Review under Chapters 32, 37, or 97 of
the Town Code, is open to public comment. A public hearing will be held at Town Hall,
