WHEREAS, En-Consultants, Inc. on behalf of Barbara & Joseph Isabella applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated September 4, 2002 WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and recommendations, and WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said application on September 25, 2002 at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and, WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area, and, WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted concerning this application, and, . 2 . WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standard set forth in Chapter 97-18 of the Southold Town Code. WHEREAS, the Board has detennined that the project as proposed will not affect the health, safety and general welfare ofthe people of the town, NOW THEREFORE BE IT, RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approved the application of Barbara & Joseph Isabella for a Wetland Permit to construct a fixed timber dock existing bulkhead consisting of 4'x58' fixed catwalk, 3'x 20' hinged ramp and 6x20' float secured by (2) 8" diameter pilings construct 3'x8'steps to beach off proposed catwalk with the stipulation that the pipe that comes through the bulkhead be removed maybe draining the driveway - 4 inch PVC pipe- ramp be 20 feet long rather than 16 feet because of the rise and fall. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this determination should not be considered a determination made for any other Department or Agency, which may also have an application pending for the same or similar project. My neighbors Barbara & Joseph Isabella have requested a permit from the Board of Trustees to construct a dock on their property. The proposed dock would be 90 feet long. I feel that a dock ofthis size in their particular location would not be feasible for either pany as the enclosed photo indicates. The proposed dock would prevent us from safely bringing our boat in the side closest to the Isabella's and perhaps damaging the boats at their proposed dock. Given any wind conditions, the use of this side of our dock would be useless to us.. Kindly give this matter your attention.
