Dear President Krupski
and Board:
I have been retained by Mr. and Mrs. Smith regarding
their wetland permit application. It is my understanding
that the Board is scheduled to inspect the property on
April 1 7'h. Your inspection of this property is
imperative, all issues raised at the last hearing would
be easily addressed and resolved with an inspection.
Please note the following at your inspection:
1. The proposed addition is over the existing structure
and set back an additional foot. The owner's plans
specifically mitigated impact to the environment by
building over the existing structure and minimizing
any disturbance to the waterfront side of the house.
2. The Smith property has retained all the natural
contours and natural features landward of the edge of
the creek. Unlike both the neighbor on the East, Mr.
Keil and the neighbor on the west, the Smiths have
retained a natural and non-turf buffer.
