Fleet's Neck Beach
Please be advised that at our Work Session on July 23, 2003. We meet with the
members of the Fleet's Neck Property Owners Association, Inc. regarding the
stabilization of the entrance to the Fleet's Neck Beach at the end of East Road in
Cutchogue.
The proposal to remove the underbrush along the south side of the existing entrance
and eliminate the road run-off problem with the installation of grey rip-rap.

Dear Al:
Thanks very much for your input during your visit of May 14 regarding the
stabilization of the entrance to the Fleet's Neck Beach at the end of East Road in
Cutchogue.
The proposal to remove the underbrush along the south side of the existing
entrance is the least disturbing to the environment, certainly cost effective and
eliminates the road run-off problem at the present entrance.
Per your suggestion, please contact the Southold Highway Department at your
earliest convenience to accomplish the clearing of the new path.
Should you or the Highway Department require any additional information, I can
be reached at 734-5623. The Association is willing to do whatever we can to further
this project.
