SUPERVISOR HORTON: Welcome to the Special Meeting July 26, 2005 of the Southold Town
Board. Please rise and join with me in the Pledge of Allegiance. We only have, we have only one
resolution on the agenda today and the purpose for calling this special Town Board meeting is to work
within the confines of legal requirements that relate to a petition from KACE, LLC, the annexation of
their property from the Town into the Incorporated Village of Greenport. So keeping with those legal
guidelines of noticing this petition within 20 days of receipt, we called a special meeting to affect that
motion. Before I move forward with this, it is customary that I off'er the floor to the public to address
the Town Board on this specific resolution. The resolution is this and this only, setting a public
hearing for August 23rd at Greenport High School at 7:00 P.M. It will be a joint public hearing,
attended by both the Southold Town Board and the Greenport Village Board. Would anyone care to
address the Board on that resolution? (No response) Then I will put forth this resolution.
