Minutes of the regular monthly meeting of the Board of Commissiioners of the
Mattituck Park District held on August II, 2005, in a classroom on the second floor of
the Mattituck Fire House, Pike Street, Mattituck, New York, with Commissioners Jerome
Zuhoski, Chairman, and Tom McCaffery present, together with John Cushman,
Treasurer, Madeline Haas, Secretary, Gail Faircloth, Clerk, Ed Grohoski, Maintenance
and Mr. Williamson, a Park volunteer. Absent, Gerard Goehringer.
Chairman of the Board declared the meeting open at 7: 10 p. m.
On motion of Jerome Zuhoski, seconded by Tom McCaffery and carried, the
following Treasurer's report was approved and the following bills ordered paid:

Letter receeived from Mike Ryan thanking the Commissioners for letting them
have the use of the Volley Ball court at the Breakwater Site again this year.
The Southold Town has put up three "No Parking" signs on the south side of
Peconic Bay Boulevard running along the northerly side the Veterans Park site.
Commissioners asked Ed Grohoski to move one of the signs that is obstructing the
entrance or the exit of the Park site.
All the electricity is in and working at the Aldrich Lane site. The meters are to be
taken off the poles and be put on new poles.
Ed Grohoski surrendered the plates from the old trailer and put new plates on the
new trailer. There is a Verizon telephone on the trailer that is being junked.

The New York State grant was discussed. Gail Wickham would get the papers in
to the State and the money is there at the State, but they do not know what stage the
papers are in and they don't want the grant cancelled because of taking so much time.
The Commissioners advised that they want all the file cases and materials moved
into the new building.
On motion of Jerome Zuhoski, seconded by Tom McCaffery and carried, the
hardware for the handicapped swing at the playground at Veterans Park is to be ordered.
The cost of the hood for the John Deere tractor is $264.00 to be gotten at Lacorte
Equipment, 522 Edwards Avenue, Calverton NYY 11933.
The new building costs were discussed. Building is not finished and Grigonis, the
contractor, has sent a bill for the balance due. Commissioners to talk to the lawyers
because the water and sewer system is not finished. Check is being held by the Treasurer
of the District.
No further business to come before the meeting on motion of Jerome Zuhoski,
seconded by Tom McCaffery and carried, the meeting was adjourned.
