HomeMy WebLinkAboutMPD-07/13/2005 . - Minutess of the regular monthly meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District held on July 13,2005. in a classroom on the second floor of the Mattituck Fire House, Pike Street, Matttituck, New York, with Commissioners Jerome Zuhoski, Chairman, and Tom McCaffery were present, together with Gail Faircloth, Clerk, Ed Grohoski, Maintenance., and Mr. Williamson, a Park volunteer. Absent, Gerard Goehringer, Commissioner, Madeline Haas, Secretary, and John Cushman, Treasurer Chairman of the Board declared the meeting open at 7:05 p..m. Jerome Zuhoski said the new building at Vets Park is almost complete. The wiring is complete in the new building at the Aldrich Lane site. The Commissioners requested Edward Grohoski to caIl AlI- Island Portables about their equipment at Aldrich Lane site. On motion of Jerome Zkuhoski, seconded by Tom McCaffery and carried David Reeve, an employee of the District, was granted a $1.00 per hour raise. On motion of Jerome Zuhoski, seconded by Tom McCaffery, Kathleet PortiIlo was hired with a wage 0[$6.50 per hour The Commissioners were notified that the Life Guard Stand's top seat is to narrow. Reported that the beaches are good to go. Commissioners reported a beach cleaner demonstration is to be held at the Yacht Club site. No further business to come before the meeting, on motion of Jerome Zuhoski seconded by Tom McCaffery and carried, the meeting was adjourned.
