Dear Rob,
The Southold Town Board of Trustees reviewed the survey dated
and received in our office on April 28, 1999 and determined that
the construction of a swimming pool and dry well, to be out of
the Trustee Wetland jurisdiction, under Chapter 97, and the
Coastal Erosion Hazard Area under Chapter 37, of the Town Code.
However, any activity within 75' of the Wetland line would
require permits from this office.
This determination is not a determination from any other agency.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to
call.

Dear Mr. King:
Pursuant to my recent conversation with Diane Herbert regarding your concern about swimming
pool drainage, please find attached a revised site plan depicting a proposed pool drywell. As
both the pool and drywell will be located landward of the Coastal Erosion Hazard Area boundary
and more than 75' landward of the mean high water line, all of the proposed work will remain
beyond the jurisdiction of the Southold Trustees pursuant to Southold Town Code Chapter 37
and Chapter 97, respectively. Therefore, would you kindly issue a letter of non-jurisdiction at
your earliest convenience.

Dear Mr. Krupski:
Attached please find a site plan prepared by Joseph Ingegno, last dated 18 February 1999, which
depicts a swimming pool proposed both landward &the Coastal Erosion Hazard Line and more
than 75' landward of the line of mean high water along Long Island Sound. As this work would
thus occur beyond the jurisdiction of the Southold Trustees pursuant to Southold Town Code
Chapter 37 and Chapter 97, respectively, I respectfully request that you issue a letter of non-
jurisdiction for the project.
For your reference, I have attached photographs of the property, as well as a letter signed by Mr.
Meskouris, authorizing En-Consultants, Inc. to act on his behal~ Should you have any questions
regarding this request, please do not hesitate to contact me at your earliest convenience.
