The original permit allowed for the removal of the majority (-80%) ofthe existing structure. Due to concerns about the foundation and structural integrity of the remaining walls it has been decided that the whole structure should come down. This will enable a sound foundation and eliminate problems in the future. The new plans have been filed with the Town of Southold Building Department, who was consulted, and is in agreement on the necessity of this change. Other than the 20% additional house removal all else remains consistent with the original permit granted.
