Dear Trustees:
I respectfully request an amendment to permit #6019 dated 10/20/04 for construction at
750 East Mill Road in Mattituck on the Neumann family (Kathleen, Michael, and James)
property. The original permit allowed for the removal of the majority (-80%) ofthe
existing structure. Due to concerns about the foundation and structural integrity of the
remaining walls it has been decided that the whole structure should come down. This
will enable a sound foundation and eliminate problems in the future. The new plans have
been filed with the Town of Southold Building Department, who was consulted, and is in
agreement on the necessity of this change. Other than the 20% additional house removal
all else remains consistent with the original permit granted. I am assured that this change
is both structurally and environmentally preferable to the original plan. Please contact
me at 212-201-4843 or ineumann(@,ramiushvb.com with any questions. I have sent the
$50 amendment fee separately via Fed-ex. Thank you for your prompt and understanding
attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
~~
