SCTM#106-6-13.3
Dear Mr. Pape:
The following action was taken by the Southold Town Board of Trustees at their Regular
Meeting held on Wednesday, June 26, 2002:
RESOLVED, that the Southold Town Board of Trustees DISAPPROVE the Amendment to
Permit//5198 for the relocation often 6'X 24' floats and the installation of nine pilings al the
southern most dock, because the operations will substantially, (A) Adversely affect the wetlands
of the town, (D) Adversely affect fish, shellfish, or other beneficial lnarine organisms, aquatic
wildlife and vegetation or the natural habitat buffer thereof, and (F) Adversely affect navigation
on tidal waters or the tidal flow of the tidal waters of the Town, as described iii Chapter 97-28 of
the Town Code.
The Board objected to the great amount of public area that would be monopolized by the
proposed project.
This is not a determination from any other agency.
If you have any questions, please call our office at (631) 765-1892.
