( on top edge of stone -- can this be a footstone? would doubt it
because of size and placing, too near wall and no visible headstone.
Yet it ma~v be a footstone misplaced in a replacement job? )

is twisted on the base so that it is very near the east edge and
looks ready to topple. I have heard that this has been so for 20 to
30 years. )
