RESOLVED, that the Southold Town Board of Trustees Approve the request for an Amendment
to Permit #5174 to shorten the existing 16' dock to 6' and to add a ramp and float to end where
the dock currently ends, as per plan dated February 19, 2001.

At the meeting of the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council held Thursday,
February 15, 2001, the following recommendation was made:

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Wissemann:
The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees
during a Regular Meeting, held on May 24,2000, regarding the
above matter.
WHEREAS, JOHN & NANCY WISSEMANN, applied to the Southold Town
Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland
Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated May 2,
2000 and,
WHEREAS, said application was referred to 'the Southold Town
Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and
recommendations, and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with
respect to said application on May 24, 2000, at which time all
interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and,
WHEREAS, the Board members
familiar with the premises
and,
have personally viewed and are
in question and the surrounding area,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and
documentation submitted concerning this application, and,
WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standard set forth in
Chapter 97-18 of the $outhold Town Code,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed
will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the
people of the town,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT,
RESOLVED, that the Board of
for 3'x16' dock, and denies
Trustees approves the application
request to construct 6'x14' float.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this determination should not be
considered a determination made for any other Department or
Agency which may also have an application pending for the same
or similar project.
Permit to construct and complete project will expire two years
from the date it is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable,
and permit issued within six months of the date of this
notification.
Two inspections are required and the Trustees are to be notified
upon completion of said project.

2. That this Permit is valid for a period of 24 mo~ which is congdemt to be the

3. That this Permit should be retained indefinitely, or as long as the said pormlttee w/sbe~
to maintain the structure or prelect involved, to provide evidence to anyone concerned that anth-
otizatioo was originally obtained.
4. That the work involved will be mbject to the inspection and approval of the Bolu'd or
ir, agents, and non-compliance with the provisiom of the otiglnadng application, may be cause for
revocation of this Permit by ~esolufion of the said Board.
5. That there w/Il be no unseasonable interference w/th navigation as a result of the wozk
herein au'thorized.
6. That there shall be no interfe£enee with the right of the public to pass and repass along
the beach between high and low water ma~ks.
